I've been on OS for years and used several rosters for 2K over the years. I'm a Knicks fan and I never liked the unaggressive gameplay of most rosters. I wanted to make this scenario because I felt there needed to be more variety in gameplay and a more aggressive CPU.
CSG scenario isn't another copy of the several other rosters and scenarios you can find. We have taken the best aspects of the well-known ATD roster and the philosophy of Sheitan from CoY, and added our own personal tweaks to make them unique. We have spent countless hours collecting data, creating formulas, and testing the results to ensure that our roster is balanced, accurate, and fun to play with. We made the AI as smart as we could this year by using statistics, formulas, and data.
Here are some of the features that our roster includes:
- New player tendencies that are stat-based and make players unique with smarter Artificial Intelligence. You will see players behave like their real-life counterparts, taking shots, passing, dribbling, defending, and more according to their strengths and weaknesses. Tendencies have ranges to improve decision making and keep things in-line several years into the future.
- Updated shooting attributes based on stats that allow badges to perform without being overpowered. You will notice that shooting is more realistic and consistent, and that badges actually matter and make a difference in the game.
- Updated rosters as of 8/10/23 with all 2-way players and contracts included. You will have access to the most up-to-date rosters with all the latest trades, signings, injuries, and ratings changes.
- Rookies drafted in their respective draft position along with attribute/badge and tendency edits to keep them in scale. You will be able to enjoy playing with the new crop of rookies that have entered the league, and see how they develop and improve over time.
- Coaches rework that helps teams perform like their real-life counterpart with coaching sliders and POEs updated. You will experience different play styles and strategies from each team, depending on their coach’s preferences and philosophies.
- GM rework to help with staff management and the trade engine for realistic trades with a purpose. You will be able to build your own dynasty or rebuild a struggling franchise, while facing realistic challenges and opportunities in the front office.
- MyNBA sim sliders that perform for long MyNBA simulations with accurate stats year after year. You will be able to simulate multiple seasons and see how the league evolves and changes over time, with realistic results and outcomes. Teams handle and free agents with great intelligence. Progression is realistic to the real NBA, and custom simulation stats match our unique tendencies. Thanks to Sheitan at CoY for the MyNBA sliders.
- Sliders for CPU/CPU games along with playoff sliders. Gameplay is tweaked to be very accurate and true to the real NBA with these sliders. Feel the intensity of a playoff game.
- Playbooks incorporated from both ATD and CoY to allow for CPU plays to give each team an identity along with filtering out plays that don’t work too well even if they’re used in real life. You will witness more variety and creativity in the offense and defense of each team, as well as more effective and efficient plays.
- Deep Draft Classes that keep things going for the entirety of your MyNBA. Each player is defined with its own position and player-type, with custom ranges to match our roster. Potentials are generated to realistically help the progression in future of your MyNBA. Only 2% of all players can have a potential of 90 overall, 30% a potential of 80 overall or above, and different player types start at different potentials to represent top-end talent more accurately.

In the coming days, we might upload some draft classes for you to enjoy soon and update the scenario for more realistic sim stats and upload the sliders. This launch is pretty bumpy and the roster is basically a test for 2K24. In 2K24, we can do more things in less time.
