The crowd noise is awful in this game

I know they don’t put much work in this and this is the first madden game where I have to say the noise and reaction from the crowd in this game is awful so far. They boo on a 1 yard run and when a team scores a touchdown the noise just seems off and weird.

Am I the only one?

Yep, and on field sound effects are muted. Can’t hear a big hit or tackle. Can’t hear the ball being booted. Very annoying.

It was like that in the beta too. I know in the beta feedback notes they said they tuned it so there might still be a patch that has those fixes in it.

Considering others are saying there’s a sound effect issue going on, I would say that’s why the crowd noise sounds weird to me

Game definitely sounds bad. 1st time I’ve ever said this about madden. I hardly pay attention, but this is very noticeably bad.

Having an issue with sound that I had in the beta where the sound will be a normal volume level, then all of a sudden they get 5x louder. Doesn't seem to be triggered by a particular type of play or result either. It's just 10 minutes of normal crowd noise/reactions, then randomly the crowd is at 100dB for 30 seconds. Literally has made me jump a couple of times.

For me crowd noise is great. It’s the lack of haptics and hitting noise on the PS5 compared to Madden 23 that is so jarring to me.

Game sounded bad on the Xbox One version but on the Xbox Series X, it’s been fine.

I had popping noises coming out of my speakers the first time I booted the game up only in game and not in the menus. There are definitely audio issues going on. PS5.

Lack of on field sounds, hits/tackles was my biggest complaint in the beta. Haven't played the trial yet, but if they don't fix this, I will be very disappointed. Silent hits makes it hard for me to play this game. [emoji17].

Just played my first game on PS5 and this stood out immediately. The crowd barely reacted for big plays, and overall the crowd noise was just really low.

I thought the crowd was better in the beta. Really got loud at certain points. So far, on the PS5 trial it had none of that impact.
