Editing players causes their LEAGUE EXP to show 31 years

Ah, of course, I only notice this after like editing rosters for 5+ hours.

Is anyone else seeing this or is it only me?

I didn't notice this. Are you editing in the main menu or with in a franchise?

It is in the main menu. You can edit ratings within franchise mode without the bug occurring. But one annoying difference now is that you can only edit appearance on user teams with the new menu in place on 24.

Edited players for 3 hours until I saw this post. Unfortunately, it does seem to be the case. I did mine in the main menu. Is it confirmed to be safe to edit within a franchise? Also does anyone know what specifically causes the issue?

Yeah it is safe to edit in franchise, I have been doing it.
I have no idea what is causing it. I have edited ratings, and it triggered. Even changing positions triggered it as well.

This was a bug in the beta as well and I expected it to be fixed before launch. Clearly it has not been fixed. This needs addressed ASAP. I believe the best case scenario will be the Day 1 patch when the standard version releases. However, I am not holding my breath that it will be fixed then.

Good to know we at least can in franchise. I thought I read somewhere we could edit individual players cleat colors this year

Well, every year the game comes out, I always wonder what will be the major issue that needs a patch (that won't come for 2 months) and I guess we found it.

Had the same issue after editing for two hours. Can't even start my franchise now. This is basically a game breaking bug because players will retire after year q in franchise with 31yrs service

Knowing Ea this was probably done intentionally

They have started to make things very difficult on the consumer to edit players outside of franchise mode

If you notice you can keep player likeness in franchise mode if you change the name but from the main menu the player faves revert to generic pics if you edit the name

I think EA is limiting player likeness for classic rosters and such intentionally now

Just messed with this...I made an edit to Rodgers and it zipped him back down to Exp: 1

I'm not mad anymore. Just disappointed.

This is very disappointing to me, the first thing I usually do when I get games is create undrafted free agents on some teams, can’t do that now, can’t even change jersey numbers without 31 years experience showing up.

on the ps4 u can still edit and everything is fine
