    Music City Miracle - M24

After the debacle that was Madden 23 Franchise mode, it's time to get back into it with Madden 24. I'm already into week 5, so I'll do some quick recaps of the previous games before diving in.

I'm playing on All Madden with default sliders. Here's to hoping we can get back to the winning ways.

      Titans at Early Crossroad

Things looked promising for the 2023 Titans after a convincing week one win in New Orleans, but three straight losses have put the Titans in a difficult position early on. Ryan Tannehill has been hot and cold all season and the Titans have given rookie Will Levis a few opportunities to take the helm, with mixed results. Levis has 307 yards passing on a mere 61% passing with one touchdown and one interception.

Behind the quarterback is Derrick Henry, who sits third in the league 413 yards rushing and five touchdowns. However, contract disputes over the last two months have many wondering if the Titans will turn to third round rookie Tyjae Spears at some point during the season.

Changes aren't expected immediately, but should the Titans drop their next two games (at Indianapolis, vs. Baltimore) major changes during their week 7 bye week could come.

Titans Make Moves During Bye Week

The 2-4 Titans have made some bold moves during their bye week, including a blockbuster trade with the Chicago Bears. With the Titans and Derrick Henry at an impasse in contract negotiations, the Titans did the unthinkable. They traded Henry to the Chicago Bears in exchange for the Bears first round selection in the upcoming draft. Henry, 30, tweeted following the news, "Love you Nashville, but let's go Bears!" In a corresponding move, the Titans signed young free agent Michael Carter to the team. Carter is expected to backup Tyjae Spears for the remainder of the season.

The move proves to be a key decision following the Titans choice to start Wil Levis for the remainder of the season. This gives the Titans the best opportunity to see if Levis is the future of the franchise and now with two first round picks in the upcoming draft, the thought of drafting Caleb Williams or Drake Maye becomes a real possibility.
