That's definitely Volkanovski, his arm tattoo is spot on. What I also noticed is probably inside game engine footage , because if you take a close look at Herb Dean's animation , it looks exactly like the one we have now. Really excited!

Somehow I have a really good feeling about UFC5, I think that we will finally get the MMA game we all want.

It seems like they are pushing the next gen consoles finally instead of the ps4 visuals we saw in UFC4. Not only that but UFC4 felt rushed in every way.

This time they took around 3 years for the new game, I think a lot of people will be suprised in a good way this time.

The teaser alone is only 11 seconds but already gives me a sense that they perhaps go for a somewhat more realistic aproach, I think it will be a totally different game then UFC4 in a good way

What they absolutely need to do this time around is just make a solid current gen version with 60fps.. all bells and whistles. and keep the last gen at 30fps or just an updated ufc4, just like they do with fifa

This animation is reminiscent of the same approach they used in 2013 when they showcased the EA UFC 1 game animation for the first time at E3.

Somehow I have a really good feeling about UFC5, I think that we will finally get the MMA game we all want.

I really don't see any of this happening. PRIDE was in Undisputed 3 in part because THQ were screwed financially and thought leaning into the nostalgia for that would help dig them out of the hole (it's why they leaned so hard into Attitude Era WWF for WWE 13 that same year.) but also bevause UFC were still actively leveraging the PRIDE video library at the time. They're not now.

Your expectations are far too high given the little we know about the game, but I wouldn't complain if we finally got a good EA UFC game. I just don't see it happening.

Well every single private beta question they've asked thus far has always brought up UFC Undisputed 3, literally every single one. Referring to the EA playtest portal.

That sounds encouraging, but I don't know what that has to do with the poster who thinks we're getting EA MMA style arenas and PRIDE mode back unless one of the questions specifically asked if PRIDE mode should return.

I hope the feedback steers this game more towards Undisouted 3 in terms of gameplay, but I'm not optimistic. They've known what the community wants for years. I'm not holding my breath that they ever give it to us again.

They may double down on the casual friendly content and add more weird costumes and fictitious venues! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I hope not though lol. I'll be honest......I may eat these words in a couple months but.......I have the weirdest feeling that this game is gonna be really good. I know, I know, ........why would I have a reason to feel like that? I dunno......maybe it's the complete radio silence for 3 years maybe the devs are tired of being torn to shreds, maybe they're just overdue to deliver a banger. I remember being pretty disappointed with Undisputed 2010 and then Undisputed 3 came along and changed my life. Maybe it takes some companies 5 tries to release that one game that amazes us. I may retract this comment here soon, I'll wait for the beta 🤣

I'm still waiting for an MMA game that looks as smooth as that fake trailer for the first Undisputed game. You know, the trailer with Rampage and Liddell. That was what, 15 years ago and MMA games STILL don't look like that!

I am wondering if people actually liked these fictional venues or customes? I like the backyard for about 5 seconds and I only liked the Pride gloves. If the ruleset of Pride is a problem (which i am doubting now because of the M rating) then atleast it would be nice to have a ring or round cages. Stand up tournaments would be more fun with a ring for example. Anyway a couple of days and then we should have lot more info I hope they fixed all the basics such a clinchwork, elbows on the ground, floating of fighters.. Without these things all the above does not even matter.
The 2014 style of visuals atleast seem to be fixed so that is one thing that is quite important
