Here we go. Says codes going out late August which is now, so should be very soon.

Couple of interesting things. Seems to be current gen only. Also has an M rating.

This is great news, that will mean that it will probably be 60fps.. Doctor stoppages and a new damage system (M rating makes me wonder are also really welcome.

'strong language' is also mentioned which is new, we could be looking at a story mode

In case of current gen only release we could be looking at cross play which is also great

Awful to see no PC option. Really disappointing and upsetting. I've played every MMA game ever made, and quite obsessively, but that will end here, because I'm not buying a new console just for one game. No PC = no purchase. **** that.

Sorry dude, but you're in the minority I assume. Most people will be with Sirsunny. This probably means way better gfx, 60fps and less bugs, though you never know of course.


Anyhow, was hoping for a PC release eventually, so I could sell the console as I never play it.

That's the case for not releasing on old-gen consoles, but not for PC. Making games run on old-gen can hold them back since they can't implement the same levels of visuals etc. But releasing for PC does not have any impact on that at all, since PC is capable of better than any other platform.

The only real reason I can see for them not releasing on PC, is that they don't think it's worth allocating the resources to make the PC version. Meaning they don't think there's a huge market for it on PC. Releasing on PC would in no way impact gfx, frame rate, or bugs on console versions.

Thanks man! I genuinely appreciate that! I actually ended up registering (i thought I had missed the window) and in checking through my email I found that I did the Beta on EA UFC 3. I'm an old man....my memory isn't what it used to be.

But I genuinely appreciate it, good looking out!

Oh nice find. I don't remember if I got into betas of the earlier games that happened when the game itself was not even revealed fully yet.

Man its no problem, can't guarantee anything but if I do get sent 2 codes I'd gladly give you one. I have 2 separate EA accounts, 1 on PS and one on Xbox so figured I'd request beta access for both and if both came through I'd hook someone else up.

But yeah that is a pretty short term window. I did not see this posted any sooner than the 25th, and if they're talking about codes for late August, then I would assume it probably runs very shortly after. Maybe even through the next weekend?

Okay apparently confirmed to not run in August. Not sure why they would follow up with codes that quickly then. That seems odd.

The late August line was a typo apparently, the codes should arrive mid September. I would assume that is also when the beta happens.


I thought it was a bit weird they'd be doing this when the game isnt even actually revealed yet at all. I guess thats for early September then.

That actually makes perfect sense, aligns with the estimated October release of the game. 2 weeks away !! Woohoo!! Well likely it's only 2 weeks away, early birthday present lol
