Last year, the first “patch” that addressed a lot of stuff dropped 9/8 so fingers crossed it’s somewhere around there

Usually like a big patch that addresses a lot of the glitches. The two that released already were minor fixes

Playing my first game since the last update…some game sound was corrected but still zero stadium music. Bummer…

There hasn’t been an official title update released yet to my knowledge, those usually come with Gridiron Notes detailing what’s included. I would expect one sometime next week before Detroit KC kickoff if I were to guess.

Has EA acknowledged the issue with every team having tons of capspace as you get deeper into Franchise? Any plans to change anything about that?

They overinflated the salary cap on purpose a couple years ago. It sucks. We ask them to fix it in the beta forums and on here every year, but this is their bandaid for the mode not having advanced cap management tactics. I don't see it changing unfortunately.


Best solution for user teams is to give your players realistic market deals based on real life, not Madden. That keeps your cap tight and makes it more of a challenge.

Pretty sure Clint said a couple weeks ago that they're working on it. He said they're hoping for some fixes to be out in a couple days. Not sure what that means. You can see all of his comments on his twitter (below) and there's some good stuff. They're listening and working on a lot of the major stuff.

Glad they are working on it at least. This is the best game in a long time IMO - but the balance with HFA is broken.

I thought it was weird when I saw that Pittman accepted a 4 year 7.2/a year deal from the colts. Slightly above average receivers are getting anywhere from 8-12 million a year these days

Did they fix create a player? I made a defensive end and tried to make his arms bigger but soon as I raised bar up the seemed to get smaller.

Remember that any patches that are platform specific most likely won't have any gameplay or general game changes of any kind since cross play is a thing this year.
