Madden NFL 24 Roster Update For Week 1 Available Now

I was trying to remember what day of the week do the weekly roster updates usually drop? I believe it was Thursday's correct? Thanks!

Yeah usually Thursday afternoon/early evening. Always before the Thrusday night game. Equipment_Guru will post on twitter when it's out. I feel like last year it was around 4-6PM EST a lot of weeks.

Looking forward to getting my Eagles franchise rolling when this drops!

I forget, do roster updates include the "start on week 1" for online franchises?

Don't want to go through the sim preseason thing where cuts and stuff aren't accurate to real life cuts

If i remember, u can choose where u want to start; preseason or regular season.

I'm not sure what their plan is this year. They used to update those live starts every week but last year they only did it a handful of times. I feel like last year they did it for preseason week 1, regular season week 1, mid season, and playoffs. It's been awhile since i looked at last year's start options though.

This is my first time playing Madden in years. Will Thursday's update be accurate (or as accurate as possible) to the Week 1 Rosters? (In other words, a good one to start a Franchise with).

Not to burst your bubble, but considering that a lot of the players who are on Practice Squads IRL aren't eligible by Madden's outdated PS rules, there's virtually no chance that they will be anywhere close

Madden really needs to make rosters so they can be like the actual NFL rosters (new PS rules of eligibility, ability to edit injuries for last minute IRs and PUPs, make LS an actual position with good ratings - not TE's in the 30's who get dropped out of franchise)

But hey, if it's in the game, it's in the game - smh

My best guess is that most players currently on the team's real PS who have played in the NFL before will be on the preseason roster to start franchise. Any who weren't draft picks and haven't appeared in real game are questionable.



As a Dolphins fan, there are three undrafted rookies who made the 53 this year that I'm waiting on, and hopefully EA has them on the roster this week. There are also a few other players who weren't on the preseason roster that are on the 53, and then I'll probably go through and create a handful of other PS guys to add to the roster before I start.

Someone said that it sometimes doesn't get released until right before the game. So I guess we'll see.

Most of the time on thursdays it gets released between 5-6 est

Roster Guru over on twitter stated that there is a server issue and they intend to get the rosters out tonight after it's taken care of
