2k23 Offline Gameplay worth the purchase?

I have 2k23 and play exclusively offline. Primarily MyEra/Franchise mode. Is the gameplay & ai improved enough for 2k24 to be worthy of a purchase?

I've watched a bunch of streams and read the reviews but would like some opinions on the offline/franchise mode.

I hate messing with sliders as it always turns into a game of whack-a-mole and I seem to spend more time doing that than enjoying the game.

      franchise/mynba is basically the same

gameplay is improved from 2k23, i was on the fence too but glad i bought 24.

FTs are even between teams, you can actually commit some fouls if you crowd a shooter or contest a shot with the right stick

real% on FTs work (2k23 you basically made everything with real%)

      fast breaks actually happen
player speed overall seems to be more accurate

i'm playing with EccentricMeats sliders, which are basically superstar with minimal tweaks so far and real fg%

I haven't seen too many differences so far between 2k23 and 2k24 other than more bugs in 2k23 but

        Gameplay is better

LeBron era is a nice addition but missing stadium designs as it did in 2k23. Atlanta still don't have an updated arena after the early Kobe era jerseys are changed.

        Cross play is cool

The wingspan on player profile addition is a nice addition, makes it easier to create players in the draft classes too

I don't see major improvements. Definitely a 30 dollar buy but not a 70 dollar buy. For me, I get LP and that's 99 dollars so getting the game for 49 with LP for 99 makes sense for me. The LeBron era is definitely worth it for me but I don't know about others.

I don't play the online modes like MT or MyCareer. I hate those modes.
