alabamarob also mentioned the issue of pick-and-roll turning into 2-on-2, which I agree with. It appears that this is still a thing.
The worst part is that in the "Screen Help Rules" diagram under Defensive Settings, you can clearly see that on Auto, help is supposed to come to tag the roller, and then help is supposed to come behind THAT help (helping the helper, from the left corner in the diagram), so it's clearly there somewhere, but for some reason it just doesn't work.

Like Rob said, on dribble penetration it’s pretty consistent for me and some of the backside rotations are actually a bit impressive where you’ll see the AI pre rotate.
I don’t run a P&R heavy offense, but you’re not wrong- For the most part P&R rotations don’t trigger unless the AI sees the ball handler clear the hedge all together…hence the “2 on 2” game
