NXT cuts happening in a few hours.

Wonder if any notables from there go?

Dyad are probably made official in this statement even though they're gone already.

      Maybe Gable Steveson as well.

Does Ziggler join his brother in AEW? His style definitely fits AEW more than WWE.

And Emma to AEW? Sure, it's another former WWE name in their women's division, but she'd be a notable name and possibly feud with Saraya.
I can absolutely see Dolph doing AEW.

Emma let her go back to Impact.

Shelton, Dolph, and Ali can pretty much go wherever they want. I don't think anyone would turn them down.

Elias seems like an NWA guy if anything. Boogs feels like a guy who'd have a one-off AEW appearance and then wind up on Impact. Not that Moss and Emma have to go to the same place, but they both feel like fits for Impact too.

Top Dolla won't go anywhere else. Aliyah will go to OnlyFans.

On a lighter note, Elias AND Ezekiel were the same guy!?!?

Unfortunately he probably hit his peak. From the Seattle Raw to the iTunes album, don't think you could ever come close to that again.

Steveson would be a big one for sure given how much they're probably paying him, and I'm sure higher up's don't look at potential of a talent, they just see "young guy in developmental makes X and he's not ready for the main scene".

WWE: We signed a $1.4B TV deal.

Also WWE: Well, we're poor so let us cut some wrestlers.

Dolph is the interesting one. I could see him just as easily retiring from wrestling as I could showing up in AEW with his brother.

Cuts happen during any big merger/acquisition.

Discovery gutted Warner Media Group after the merger/acquisition was finalized last year.

Some of these folks might return on 'cheaper' deals, can go work the indies, or try to sign with AEW, Impact, etc.

Not to mention none of these names "matter".

Dolph and Shelton are the only ones that boggle my mind as far as creative not being able to do anything with.

Yeah 100% of those names make sense. None of those people have added anything to the product for a long time if ever.

Dolph and Shelton to this day could work a good to great match with a broom. They both should have done way more in their careers, but never really got the kind of shot that matters. Shelton in particular.

Sucks they couldn't do anything else with MMM, it was a funny gimmick. Mace I felt like could've done a better job at a Velveteen Dream like gimmick.

Surprised Shankys gone right before their India show.

Dabba Kato could've been decent too, his size alone like Omos made him stand out.

Not many names from this list I'm too surprised by.

Emma released right after they announced a PLE in Australia sucks, same with Shanky gone when they're going to India.

They still have Rhea and Indi (and Nia...), but would've been nice having Emma in that one too. Besides that though, nothing else has been notable for her.
