    How’s your Franchise going?

About to start my franchise and always enjoy reading about others seasons. I’m a big Ducks fan so the youth they have in Zegras, McTavish, Drysdale and Carlson will be fun plus the cap space they will have after this year will be great to add a big piece. I did consider Dallas and New Jersey as they have a great mix of young superstars and veterans.

Will be knocking out the first few games of the season later today

Excited to read about the Ducks. I bleed Blue, so I'll start a Blues franchise here in the next week or so.

Bringing back the Cleveland Crusaders from the 1970’s and moving CBJ to CLE.

Waiting for Opening Night rosters and still can’t decide on a logo for my new franchise.

One thing I've noticed is that the draft classes are really bad. Like you're getting medium 9f and medium 6d in the first round on default sliders and 15 years in the future there's almost no generated players among the top scorers

6-4-1 so far with Anaheim. It's been feast or famine thus far offensively. I've gotten great goalie play out of Gibson, just struggling to score goals after that first line or two. I'm on Superstar and getting great results as I feel like I have to work for goals and wins but also don't feel cheated when I lose. The last few scores

          Lost to Boston 5-1
          Beat CBJ 3-1
          Beat Boston 2-1
          Beat Flyers 6-0
          Lost to Pit- 5-1

Zegras and Killorn lead the team with 8 points each. Carlsson has been solid as a rookie with 2 goals and 4 assists

Unfortunately, I can’t start the season until Fantilli is added to the CBJ roster…who knows when that will be?

Started a Blues franchise after the roster update today.

Florida Panthers offered me a 2025 2nd round pick for D Nick Leddy, we took it and the $4M off the books and cap savings.

We opened on the road against the Dallas Stars and won, 5-4 in OT.

                  Pavel Buchnevich with the hattrick!!

Up next is the home opener against Seattle.

Wish I could answer this. Not starting mine until they put hybrid controls back in..
If you keep bowing down and praising the developers, (NHL series) nothing they give us the consumer will ever be a "finished" product. Take a stand, it is your money!!!.

                          Re: How’s your Franchise going?

Year 1 with the LA Kings and were 34-21-7 at the trade deadline which is good enough for first in the Pacific Division. We picked up one winger, one D-man and a much needed goaltender. I think we addressed all our needs here at the deadline.

LAK acquired LW Jakub Vrana from STL for Carl Grundstrom, 2025 3rd round pick, and a 2025 3rd round pick
LAK acquired a 2025 4th round pick from NYI for G Pheonix Copley
LAK acquired a 2025 3rd round pick (STL) and a 2025 3rd round pick (EDM) for D Matt Roy (traded to EDM)
LAK acquired D Matt Dumba from AZ for a 2025 2nd round pick and 2026 1st round pick
LAK acquired G Jeremy Swayman from BOS for C Alex Turcotte, C Jaret Anderson-Dolan and 2 draft picks

                          Our new lines

                          Fiala - Kopitar - Kempe
                          Vrana - Dubois - Arvidson
                          Byfield - Danault - Moore
                          Kaliyev - Lizotte - Larerriere

                          Anderson - Doughty
                          Gavrikov - Dumba
                          Bjornfoot - Clarke

                          Swayman
                          Talbot

                          Leading point scorers

                          Kevin Fiala 18G 29A for 47 points
                          Anze Kopitar 14G 32A for 46 Points
                          Victor Arvidson 21G 24A for 45 points
                          Adrian Kempe 20G 24A for 44 points
Arthur Kaliyev 25G 16A for 41 points - top goal scorer
                          Pierre-Luc Dubois 18G 22A for 40 points - missed 8 games due to injury

Hopefully the new additions lead us on a nice run to the Stanley Cup

I am finally fully ready to start a franchise. But I can't decide which team. I initially before buying the game, I said Seattle. But after playing a few times now with them I just wasn't feeling it. Not as fun as I thought.

Colorado is my favorite team so I lean towards them. When I played as them it was a ton of fun. Obviously they are loaded. Which is kinda why I don't want to use them. Then Buffalo, who is like my favorite team in the Eastern conference. I have fun with them too and they have that young superstar ready to build around. That is appealing for me too. So I think either Avs or Sabres but can't decide now lol
