Passing animations vs closeout speed. 10 years now?!

How is this still an issue? They have a billion pass animations in this game, different packages, you can even spend real money on upgrading your passer RATING. But there is nothing you can do about when the game decides you get the slowest pass animation in the world, and the CPU gets to speed boost to shooters.

It's super cringe and frustrating to watch. Absolutely maddening when you call 3 timeouts just to get the AI to calm down, too.

I promise this game gets madder at me than I do at it.

For the love of God, please just uninstall the game. It is not healthy to what's seems like forcing yourself to play. Every one of your threads is complaining about the game.

To be fair he's making legitimate complaints. If you were to look at what he's saying objectively, it's a very legitimate issue.

I also have been complaining and I understand if it's a bit much for some people. My only defense is that I am hoping to get solutions or maybe even attention for potential changes in the future. Squeaky wheel gets the grease! I'd also add that seeing some of the same issues for many years is not awesome and we as customers can express our dissatisfaction via online communities so the devs get an idea as to what people actually want.

A better, more realistic simulation style game is what many of us are looking for and my only hope is that forums like OS help achieve that. Not using said forums isn't going to make change. I've gotten some great ideas from OS in complaint threads and I'm thankful for them. Game changing slider changes and roster edits almost always come from a complaint or a bug thread.

Lol just ban me then bro. Can't bad mouth the game or want it to improve at all.

        Close another thread 24.

Why exactly should he be silent when he's 100% accurate on his complaints?

If we're being honest, 2k23 is a MUCH better game with base sliders, & that's what we have to play with for us non off-liners. The game has major issues that prevent it from reaching its potential, which we KNOW is buried beneath the arcade nonsense.

I just played 83 Lakers vs 83 Kings in 23 on default Superstar 6 min quarters and the CPU Kings shot 16% for the game, yes no typo 16% lol. I won the game 60-20 lol.

23 was good til patches messed it up.

Because complaints have become the bane of his existence this year, why continue to play a game that u obviously find no positive reason to? Move on, itรขโ‚ฌโ„ขs not that serious

Couldn't imagine subjecting myself to a video game I dislike so much, and then putting in the effort to complain about it. Do you just sigh and facepalm every time you start up the game, wondering how you got to this point? Do you ever have fun with this game? Have you ever had fun with this game?

In my experience with the last several years of the NBA 2K franchise, I've grown to dislike more and more the direction the series has headed. My belief is that the game flow against the AI has gone in the direction of user/user style and less like simulation and what I see in the real games -- whether it is the drive n kicks, defense, shooting percentages, greens, etc. Sliders can only do so much, some of the design decisions are core hardcoded parts of the game.

But even if I've regularly been bothered by the problems, I do have some enjoyment playing occasionally if I allow myself to remember this is still a game and a lot of people who also play likely wouldn't enjoy my vision of what NBA 2K can and should be.

But sure on some level I can understand the response of "why subject yourself to this" and my answer would be that I enjoy closely following the NBA, and naturally part of that is *wanting* to have a great experience with the video game series too.

You couldn't imagine putting in the effort to complain about the game but you yourself can manage the effort to complain about him complaining. Hmmm...interesting.

I'm with you, I just don't get how folks have so many life shattering issues with a video game. Every week it's something new. Complaints are fine no doubt and some of those are legit. I guess it depends on who is experiencing that issue.

                        You don't know me, bro.

It's just a video game, yeah. But I paid for it and I'm sorry if I'm not completely satisfied with my purchase. Where else was I supposed to vent my frustrations?

                        *******.

Nothing wrong with expressing what you don't like. It's hard sometimes to know how big an issue is without seeing it myself. No offense.
