    HUD Explained

Can someone help me understand the icons under the Stamina bar. I see what looks like a medical bag, an eye, and what looks like lungs.

I notice the medical bag and eye show up when the fighter gets a cut. Not sure what the lungs mean, since I have seen that and still had alot of Stamina.

    Thanks!

Indeed I can! These are all related to the new damage system and health events, and the effects those can have on your fighter after the initial moment. The med bag is an overall indicator of how severe the injuries are and how close the doctor/ref are to checking the fighter and possibly stopping the fight, though this is limited just to the facial injuries.

The following breakdown should be available in-game under the 'Learn' tab in the manual as well:

lungs = short term stamina recovery
eye = increased damage on that side of the head
heart = long term stamina impacted
purple leg = increased leg damage
arm = long term block health impacted

Sorry. My q is irrelevant here. I cant create posts here. New caf here in this forum. Whats with grapple hud colors' purple red black green. It all started wigh ea ufc 4. I dont get the colors. For eg. 2 transitions colored black. One is red."is this gnp?"
Purple are subs? Green are getups. Black are ground transitions?

Yes, the colors of the transitions indicate the final result they will go to, as you guessed.

Most transitions are uncolored and simply go to a new position in the ground somewhere, but if a transition is going to sweep (swap top/bottom), getup, enter submission or ground and pound, then they have colors indicating such. This is just to help users understand at a glance without always having to read the text or understand BJJ.
