No cpu penalties in NHL 24

I’m playing season games in NHL 24 and the cpu is literally taking no penalties.

I have all of the sliders dialed up to 100. My teammates take penalties but the opposition never does. In my last game, my team took 7 penalties vs my opponent’s 0. And this is common.

How do I fix this? Does it depend on the difficulty level?

Are you saying you get no power plays and the cpu gets a lot? Or the opposite?

He's saying the CPU teams never get penalised. This has been a problem for years. There's not much you can do other than make the CPU more aggressive or make them more successful in hitting which in turn skews the game's stats and makes the CPU unbearable to play against. NHL sucks for this, there's not much solution.

This has been a problem for years and it's also been a mystery for years. Some say they get none, some say they get a good amount, and a few even say they get too many.

After years of trying to solve this my only guess is that roo much slider tweaking throws things off in the game and penalties seem to be the biggest victim. It seems the less slider tweaks I do the better the penalty situation is.

Also....before each season game I go into my sliders and adjust 1 number, by 1, usually to fatigue and play. It makes no sense and I've got no legitimate reason to offer but if I play consecutive games, after the first one, penalties are gone. If I do the slider thing before each game they stay. Weird but as long as it works I'm doing it.
