Transition fake help

Can someone explain how to fake a transition? I thought you click RT after attempting, but it always gets blocked and then the second transition I attempt also gets blocked. So my stamina is drained and the CPU can submit or transition with ease.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

yeah transition and quick r2, but no point faking the cpu, better off denying or bulding up GA and transitioning. CPU read through fakes, fakes better vs other players online.

Yes, that gameplay aspect is broken vs AI. They will end up reversing the transition you end up doing. A pity as that would make the game more interesting against AI.

Thanks guys! That’s a major bummer I wasn’t sure if it didn’t work bad CPU or I sucked at it lol. Kinda sad because the simulation mode has no GA so I hoped the fake transitions would be useful but I guess it isn’t

It would definitely spice up the game in terms of strategy. I never play online so will never use it. It's unfortunate as the legendary AI does use them frequently. It' essentially a form of cheating to have them auto-counter every attempt by default.

In sim mode you just have to play the waiting game to deny and then quickly try your move. I edit the standup to fast to "force" me to do something on the offensive. As defensive fighter you just wait for the standup to occur.

Yeah the ground game seems a little stale because it’s unfair as a stage the cpu has. Maybe the devs can see this thread and work to adjust it. I’d just love for them to be faked out lol
