Is it just me or is it just absolutely impossible to hit a homerun on some of these moments that require you to hit a homerun? I'm getting so damn annoyed and pissed sitting around waiting for a meatball pitch only to pop it up or hit a ground ball or a fly ball that's barely 200 feet deep. Jake Burger one in the June program. The Josh Jung one in the wild card program. Both of them I'm having the exact same issue, everything is a line drive or ground ball. I cannot hit a decent fly ball to save my life. I've tried early swings and late swings. I've tried normal swings and power swings. I've tried high pitches and low pitches and after 20 plus tries of not doing it I just cannot see straight I'm so angry!!!

I feel like the HR missions are harder this year and less rewarding...like they nuked it on purpose...

If you play the CPU it also seems they pitch out every single time you hit the L2 to steal button

But yeah, I consider myself well above average at the game where veteran level HR with enormous PCI should be a breeze and some take a silly long time.

Go to your settings and change the game style from competitive or simulation to casual. You're welcome.

I wasn't aware that had any affect on DD.

I recommend trying directional hitting. Aim to pull up and try to get just a bit out in front of something. It will come eventually.

I often had to take a break and come back to complete those moments. It just happens eventually as long as you’re not over-amped for it.

It took me about 4 different times of trying it to finally hit the HR with Jake Burger. Never had that kind of issue before.

The other secret to beating some of those moments that I’ve experienced several times this year: post about how you can’t beat the mission. Even the virtual edition of the baseball gods work in mysterious ways. :-)

I hate when the mission is hit a home run then the pitcher throws sinker at the knees every pitch every at bat.

I personally think that an inside sinker (for example) righty on righty the inside sinker is by far the hardest pitch to hit c esp if the pitcher has a nasty one like. Corbin Burns , Pedro , Ohtani etc etc
