Merry Christmas and I hope you all had a wonderful day with friends and family! I recently had a post that placed a poll of which team would be most intriguing should a coach be fired. I wanted to poll to get to 20 votes…at least…and it was good turnout. Thank you. I’m going with the poll favorite - Chicago Bears.

So…I propose a question - Do I keep Fields or draft Caleb? I would keep wins/losses up to date (as much as possible) - but make sure the Bears get the #1 pick from the Panthers.

I'd trade down.

Look at the 5th mock and see where Harrison is supposed to go. Trade down with that team, or a slot ahead. Get some extra assets to stock up on playmakers.

I really like Fields, wish he would have came to Denver. I LOVE ps2, but Wilson's inability to see downfield is killing my team.

In real life? You take Caleb, trade Fields.


In the game? Do whatever you will find fun. You can win with whatever QB you have.

Why in “real life” do you take Fields? Help me understand how Caleb is that much better than Fields?

Ignoring that he is (probably) the better prospect, he gives you four years of cheaper production whereas you only have one year left with Fields.

Again - you didn’t convince me of how Caleb is a “better” prospect? I’ve watched the tape and there isn’t anything that Caleb does that is ABSOLUTELY significantly better than Fields.

I agree in trading down - just as long as the trading down doesn’t go past Harrison Jr.

If your major arguing point is cost - well - you’re going to have to pay Caleb sometime down the road anyway…

If you draft Harrison Jr. and then grab whoever is next with the next pick. Plus - you have 2 seconds and 2 thirds in this years draft along with 2 firsts and 2 seconds in next years draft. If Fields doesn’t pan out by year 2/3 of an extended contract - then look to deal him…possibly.

I do watch/read “experts” opinion on what do in this matter and the consensus surrounding their takes.

The “experts” also said Ryan Leaf was day one nfl ready and Manning was a project. Just saying lol.
