    Auto Subs

With the current sale price, I am leaning towards purchasing NBA 2K24 and the one thing that is holding me back was the issues with the auto substitutions in 2K23. I play the Era's mode exclusively. Can anyone confirm whether or not that the substitution issue has been fixed?

What issue are you referring to? There's a new ACE sub method that is a lot smarter. It keeps a scorer on the floor. The only drawback is that it won't always go by your assigned minutes.

Is there any way to get subs to more closely align with minutes assigned? I like the idea of ACE sub method for CPU teams but for my own, I'm not big on my 13th man getting subbed in automatically each game in Eras even though he doesn't have any minutes assigned.

The issue with the substitutions was that you had to set the grid as you could not rely on the set minutes. The auto subbing was awful as it was always a 'mass' substitution (5 in/5 out). I did mess with the grid method but it did not seem to 'stick' as the substitutions would become out of whack...

In past releases, the auto sub feature used to work great.

I guess that I should mention that I am one of those oft ostracized 'cpu vs cpu' video sports gamers and so manual substitutions are not an option for me..
