This is the one "Other Sports" title I've been hoping for so I was glad to see Steve's original post. I really hope like the last Topspin (and NBA 2K for that matter), we get Legends.

Could be a lot of excitement for nothing.

Who's to say this isn't just a 2K branding of the horrible AO Tennis games?

The same way 2K did with NBA Playgrounds and The Golf Club.

It's at least another option. It's been a long time since we had 2 tennis games releasing in the same year. I'm sure TieBreak will be another AO/TWT clone since it's made by Big Ant and they're doing the awful alpha release thing. There's more hope for this game than anything that's been released since top spin 4.

It's not, it's developed by Hangar 13 which merged some staff with the people that made Top Spin 4 and Mafia 2.

1) I don't have to know a release date, but is there a release season (winter, spring, summer, fall) since it says "Coming Soon"?

2) are there legend/retired players in the game like Topspin 4?

The last TopSpin was a great game. Would probably still prefer this over the recent Tennis game I got, AO Tennis 2, which disappointed me (but I apparently put 29 hours into it so it couldn't be too bad).

I liked it so much that I never bought another tennis game since then because I didn't think any other game--even next gen--would be as good or better.
