This is a 2-part question.
PART 1
I currently play with SS abilities turned off. I know I could turn those on and get the benefit of the abilities like Edge Threat. But I refuse to do it.
Before this last patch, I had no issues getting pressure on the QB. But since the patch, once the offensive line gets some resistance points built up, I can't get pressure. I've lost several games in the 4th quarter because I can't get pressure on the QB no matter what I try.
I've tried rotating linemen in and out of the game. I've tried using the quick sub packages and doing different things with those. Even when I blitz, I still have trouble getting pressure once their offensive line has built up resistance.
Does anyone have any useful info as to what I'm missing here or doing wrong?

I've been trying to figure out different ways to get pressure since this last patch. And I've noticed that in franchise mode, I can't get my defensive line to crash in any direction. I can go into practice mode and crash in whichever direction just fine. The play art updates accordingly and my linemen actually crash in said direction. But move into franchise mode and get into a game, and crashing the defensive line does not work. Has anyone else noticed this or have any advice on how to fix it?
