2K24: MyERAs Season Start Scenarios

Hey there! Having started the 2K24 Historic Draft Classes, I inevitably wanted to see them in action and have started simulating ahead starting at the 2002-03 season. I ensure rosters are as close to realistic for opening night as possible, with realistic (but not exact) contracts, and then future draft classes. I then upload them as a scenario for whomever to use.

The first is 2003-04. You can play as one of the fantastic rookies, or see if you can get Karl Malone and Gary Payton rings with the Lakers. Or maybe you still can't believe KG didn't get a ring with the Wolves in 04 and want to fix this travesty.

I plan to upload scenarios like this up to the 2007 offseason before the Oden/Durant draft.

Find the scenarios by going to MyNBA Eras. Then, select 2KSHARE SETUPS & SCENARIOS. Then, select MyNBA 2K SHARE SCENARIOS. Select a save slot and then look up the scenario by name or online ID.

This scenario is a little rough, but it gets you through the 2003-04 season and right up to the expansion draft. However, the prospect draft that follows the expansion draft doesn't have the correct order due to some limitations of the game. But, you can perform the expansion draft and move into the rest of the offseason.

This scenario is opening night of the 2004-05 season. Have you ever wondered if the Malice in the Palace hadn't occurred? Would the Pacers have won the title? Would Reggie have finally gotten a ring? Want to start fresh with the Charlotte Bobcats, go for it!

Rewind the clock to 2005-06 and see if you can get Shaq the ring with the Heat. Or maybe, start a career with Chris Paul and try to catch John Stockton's all-time assist record. Or maybe play a game here or there and recreate Kobe's 81. I was living in Phoenix at this time, so I spent many nights cheering on Nash and the Suns. Avoid Amare's knee injury and lead the Suns to the championship that never was.

I'll get us to the 2004-05 offseason so that y'all can expand with the Bobcats. The goal right now is to get to 2007 and the Durant draft.

In 2K23 I did 1991 to 1996 and it was great to have the expansion year and then the Kobe Draft.

I think 95-96 should be the next era added to the game.

I'm a huge fan of your Scenarios because the attention of detail you do to your sets, I highly appreciate you doing this, if your going to do that 95/96 please, please make it say 1995 on the calendar year!

And would it be able continue with other draft classes beyond 1996?

Doubt they’re gonna happen…
but a Jordan era without Kukoc on the default roster is crazy. they need to add him and other foreign guys who came over later to their teams with euro-stash on. Or at least give us back the option to edit that attribute in the player edit screen.

You can add him and if you don’t wanna use him right away set a injury for 480 days so he misses the first year

That’s not the same thing as having him stashed. While he’s injured he would be earning years of service and progressing differently due to practice. He would also be untradable while injured. This issue just needs to be corrected. We shouldn’t have to be looking at work arounds for a feature that is already in the game but the user is unable to utilize the past 3 years.

Updated the salaries across all teams on the 2003-04 season. Going to start working toward the 04 offseason and the expansion draft!

I updated the 2003-04 season start to include Luke Jackson in the draft pool. I somehow forgot one of the all-time "what-ifs." He was going to be the outside shooter who would benefit from Lebron driving and drawing attention. But two herniated disks in his back ruined his career.

Hi, have you uploaded the settings to this scenario as well? Like training effectiveness, simulation sliders, etc?

This looks awesome! Thank you for all your hard work. How far did you go with this? Did you do coaches, playbooks, courts etc or just rosters and player bios?
