    Drama’s User vs CPU All-Madden Sliders

    This is the 1st time I have ever posted a slider set to the forum so I hope you guys give them a shot! I give a ton of credit to Matt10 and Mr. Hurricane for this set. Many ideas were taken from their sets.

    House Rules

    NO Switch defense:
    I used to ALWAYS play switch defense, but I have now found the benefit of no switch user defense. This allows the sliders/ratings to play out more organically. If you have a difficult time breaking the habit, user a defensive lineman for a while. For some reason, this helped me to break the habit. You could also player lock onto a defender which is also a very fun way to play defense.

    Offense:
    You can tap the button to conservative, RAC, or aggressive catch with a WR. Just don’t move the WR off their route.

    Play-calling:
    Avoid using money plays. I generally scroll through coach recommended play calls to find a call I like. If the play call is really wonky, I will then change the play call in the menu. Otherwise, I let the OC/DC do their jobs.

    Draft Class Strength:
    You have 2 options…

    Option 1: For more variety, randomize the strength of each position with a 10 sided die roll. You could have a roommate or spouse edit the draft class strength for you so that you do not know what the draft class strength is!

    Die Rolls:
    1 = Very Weak
    2-3 = Weak
    4-7 = Normal
    8-9 = Strong
    10 = Very Strong

    Option 2:
    All positions have normal draft class strength except for CB which is set to weak. This idea comes directly from Mr. Hurricane. This is the option that I personally use.

    I’ve had a ton of fun using these sliders. It is very challenging and as realistic as I could hope for. The CPU is no slouch. I am currently 7-5 with the 2023 Jets (Aaron Rodgers stayed healthy this time…)

    As of right now my biggest complaint is I throw too many INTs, but it isn’t due to a glitchy CPU defense. Just poor reads : )
