Welcome to my slider thread for Madden 24!

Apologies that I'm a little late to the party this year. It's my first year putting together a full slider set for Madden, and I hadn't originally planned to do so. I had a change of heart and downloaded the game when it went live on EA Play and I've been working on this set ever since.

Firstly, this slider set is designed to be used on All Madden difficulty, simulation game style, and is designed to replicate real life football as far as Madden will allow.

Played one game this morning in my franchise and was very pleased with the results. I've been tweaking my sliders on All-pro in my current franchise, trying to find more difficult gameplay but I seem to be winning easier as I try to make it harder. I gave this a shot, hoping it would take some of the cheese out of playing on All-Madden (I haven't played AM in a few years).

I'm in week 7 in 2026 and won a close game against the Dolphins 24-17. I still had the advantage in yards by about 50 but I had two first half INTS of Tua that stalled some drives including his very first throw. Breece still rumbled to over 100 yards but got stopped a few big times including on a 4th down run to kill a red zone drive. my stud TE had a great game and his attributes fully showed with these sliders.

the game felt more wide open yet tighter, if that makes any sense. Achane's speed killed me on some runs and I wish the CPU would run even more to add more balance. Tua and Hill killed me on a 75 yard play action pass that beat my man coverage so I switched over to more zone after that.

this time of year, with football over and baseball starting up, I usually lose the spark to play Madden and switch over to the Show in a few weeks, but this game gave me hope to keep going with a franchise I'm fully invested in and don't want to waste. I look forward to any future updates. thanks!

Glad they worked out for you in the first game! Hopefully they continue to hold up.

I don’t think it’s ever going to be possible to completely remove the All Madden cheese but we can try our best to minimise it as much as possible!

I have seen a good range of injuries so far but this is something I'm still working on tweaking.

Players probably aren't quite getting enough fatigue in the set at the moment, so I'm hoping raising that will kill two birds with one stone - more realistic fatigue effects and more chances of injuries occurring because of the additional fatigue.

I've personally been using 11 fatigue even on the set here I made that personal change and I feel like it's a good balance of length and amount. It feels like 20 and above you see way too many to where it's almost every other play. Maybe try 11 if you haven't already?

So here's the game I mentioned with the sliders! I think it came out really good and I didn't feel the usual All-Madden cheese which for me is GREAT [emoji23] looking at it again I'd maybe bump up CPU QB accuracy a little bit but I'm going to keep playing before making any changes on my own. Great set you got here though my friend for real!

There are two settings that can be used for Quarter Length and Accelerated Clock.

15 mins // 10 secs - generates an average number of plays similar to the NFL in real life. Can be used for individual one-off games.

12 mins // 15 secs - generates an average number of plays similar to other teams in Madden. Should be used in Franchise Mode to keep stats in line with the rest of the league.

Great video! That was fun to watch and I liked the stats edit and the halftime report.

I think the run games still need a bit of balancing. It’s a little too easy for the user to run and you shut down the cpu run game. They had like 1.5-2 ypc until they broke a big one late and that was only because you committed the run middle.

I also shut down the cup run game in my most recent episode but I’ll get a bigger sample size before any changes are made.

Yeah the CPU run game could definitely be something to look at but I do agree with you that we need more data before any changes are made. Really glad you enjoyed the video and I'm so excited to record the next one!

Hey man hope you don't mind but here's the second game I did with your sliders! A much different result this time but overall I continued to enjoy the gameplay especially the QB play. Because Geno isn't a great QB it also helped that Bryce Young was struggling too [emoji23]

I play this game "offense only" in play now and these were fantastic for a casual player! Had a ton of fun with a great mix of success and failures, the kicking accuracy was also great as I let the CPU kick them and saw 2 missed FG's.
