The NCAA NEXT 25 Mod is a fully integrated modification of NCAA Football 06 for the 2024 season with a ton of new features to the original game and previous modification releases. This package is a combination of our team's texture package of over 37,000 new graphics textures and modifications to the entire game's core engine, database structure, and strings to enhance gameplay, dynasty mode, visual quality, and much, much more!

As an FYI on the Roster for this mod:

It is guaranteed to not be accurate. Here's how it was created:

We used our base roster from last year, which is credited to the OperationSports NCAA14 PS3 Roster team and ported to our mod using a tool i made many years ago. Then we did a scrape of recruiting data from various sources, transfer portal data from various sources, and compiled it all together into a few CSV databases.

I then wrote a DB Editor series of modules to take the old roster, graduate and make real-life NFL underclassmen leave the database, and then using the Transfer Portal data, move players around to their new teams. Then the code gave each player a small boost in ratings and made their class year go up 1.

Then using the recruiting data, I wrote a new module that created rookies based on their position, height, weight, and recruiting ranking. The higher the ranking, the more random factor was given to boost their recruit skills data. Then they were given a random skin, face, head, etc. So you'll have real players, with real positions and generally correct weight/heights, but their skin tone may be a little off, and their attributes are randomly generated.

Then I wrote a final function to fill in team rosters with randomly generated players to make sure they have the right amount of players at each position and to fill out their roster. It deletes their worst player off the roster if there is no space....

And then finally, i wrote another set of code to create depth charts automatically based on their ratings.

I did come back and manually edit some players but not everyone. I dont have that much time!

How did you add NFL stadiums and can you incorporate them in Dynasty? Can you schedule neutral site regular season games yet?

I am having a blast with NCAA 25, but 2005 and 06 are fun to mess around with still.

I am having a blast with NCAA 25, but 2005 and 06 are fun to mess around with still.

You can easily pull in madden stadiums into NCAA, but there will be no crowds. A couple guys figured out how to hex edit the stadiums to add back in the crowds from NCAA series. (Madden and NCAA use of stadium crowds differ)

The default neutral site games in the DB is limited to just 4 games. We removed the CU-CSU one and modified the code to have the Game of the Week in Week 1 be the Aflac Kick-Off Classic game at a new neutral site stadium we created.

It would be great to add more neutral site games, but I think to do that, we'd have to do significant hex edits. No real easy way to add more. You can modifiy existing ones in the STRMDATA.DB though.

We are also testing the next version of this mod. It will include the Pistol Formation sets! I've been working on this project for a couple of weeks now and it looks like its fully working now! It'll include 5 pistol formation sets as well as a series of new playbooks and changes to existing ones. Very excited for this modernization of the game.

We also are updating the way subs are handled in simulation and within actual played games too! This will make stats more realistic!
