    Re: MLB The Show 24

It literally does not matter if people protest by not purchasing the game every year. The only way that franchise would ever receive a Complete start from scratch Mormon would be if diamond dynasty did not exist. We all know that’s Not going to happen.

In all of the publicity marketing feature premieres that was created for this game, not once was franchise even a word in that title. The feature that the franchise portion was on was less than seven minutes of the overall 50 minute presentation. And as we know, all they added was a UI screen alternate way to Sim and under the hood tuning fixes. That’s basically MLB the show 24 franchise mode. it was less than last year to the point where like I said it wasn’t even mentioned in the title of any of the pre-release marketing.
Also, you can tell by the tone and lack of excitement during those 401 seconds there is no passion for creating a realistic franchise mode at SDS. It doesn’t even matter at this point who at SDS is willingly choosing to neglect franchise mode.

Compare the tone and attitude and time spent on the Derek Jeter storyline, the female ball player, and diamond dynasty two franchise and rode to the show. It’s clear where the current direction of this franchise is headed. It’s even more blatant than previous years and my guess is they know they can get away with it because the diamond dynasty Addicted fanboys are right there with him no matter the content put out for that mode. They might grumble, but they’re still buying the game. They’re still making YouTube videos and they’re still spending money. Franchise is dead unless this game were to ever be purchased by another gaming company. Even then, there’s no guarantee, but there would be some hope that franchise in MLB the show would be even slightly improved then it is now

It's just possible, even if it seems unlikely, that without Diamond Dynasty and those people funding MLBTS, that this franchise (let alone Franchise Mode) would not survive without that influx of cash. What Franchise Mode desperately needs (nevermind how unpopular the opinion) is a way to make extra $$$ to pull it's own bloated burdensome weight.
