    Favorite hitting camera?

I don’t know why but I end up switching almost every year. Couple years back I used the MLB The Show 16 view. The year after that, Retro. This year I’m really feeling Outfield. I see the ball easier for some reason. It also reminds me of the view from Bases Loaded. Yes I’m that old lol.

    What’s your favorite and why?

Finished 23 using catcher far but after hours of going through different cameras..Zoom is my favorite. Zoomed out a bit so you can see the batter and more of the ballpark but not to far to see the break of the pitches.

I use a custom camera.......Start with RETRO camera and adjust the height, zoom and angle from there. It's only a very slight adjustment from default RETRO as well

The default cam is fantastic this year imo. Been doing my own custom cam for a good 3-4 years now, and this year’s catcher cam is like 99% the same thing as what I had been doing.
        Just one man’s opinion.
I don’t actually care about any of this.

Thanks! I like this one. I’ve been having trouble on low pitches lately but this angle helped a lot especially getting more jump on it. I zoomed in all the way tho.

On the PlayStation and Xbox, I use fisheye.

On the switch, I use catcher zoom because the screen is so small.

I struggle to find a good view that balances a good view of the pitches but still being able to enjoy the view of the stadium. This looks pretty interesting. What adjustments do you actually make?

I use fish eye on the big TV. Default catcher on Steam Deck.

Been using Retro since 18. I weirdly feel like it’s somewhat realistic, the stadium and pitcher doesn’t seem too far away and it’s perfect for judging balls and strikes. Depth of field takes a hit but I don’t mind it at all.

What is the default cam? I was also loving it and then I started tinkering and I don't know how to get back.

I'm not home right now but I think it's just the Catcher cam. I've been using default this year as well and I think it's great.

Thank you, Sir I can't wait to get back to default. Spent too long tinkering in menus and couldn't find a way to do it'

Since I've got you here and respect you, would you please weigh in on my thread about Orlando Arcia's arm? Would love to hear your thoughts. I had a typo in the title, but you'll get it.

It's cool if you disagree with me. Stuff like that doesn't bother me. a wife and 3 daughters have me trained to accept being wrong, like all the time about everything. lol

Honestly - use Retro and the adjustments are very minor

best I can tell you is to use the stadium and teams in my pictures and just try to replicate it
