Is AEW Fight Forever worth the $29.99
Just wanted to get Opinions on AEW Fight Forever since it has had a Hige Price Drop. I am only interested in the Gameplay, as I dont plan on doing much with it outside of Playing Universe Mode using the Play Now/Exhibition Mode.
Thank you in advance for any feedback.NBA 2k18 Roster:

If you just want fun matches, I say for sure yes.I won't ask for Christmas or birthday gifts if you subscribe to the Operation Sports Newsletter (Not Just Another Roster Update). I write it, and it hits your inbox every Friday morning (for freeeeeee). We also have an official OS Discord you can now join. -

If $30 isn't going to impede on any important real life stuff for you, then I say yes.Comment

Yeah, it's a really fun game. It's different from WWE 2k series. I use the 2k series to build a universe and tell stories I want to tell in that space. In Fight Forever, you can basically either play random matches or do the "career" mode. This mode has a bunch of replay value in that it features branching story lines like No Mercy did. It's more of an arcadey take on wrestling than the 2K series (which is more simulation), but having both options to play is fun, especially since the rosters are so different. Just like having both WWE and AEW be good wrestling shows is good for wrestling, so too is having two good wrestling games (3 if you count Fire Pro, which might be my favorite).Comment

Re: Is AEW Fight Forever worth the $29.99
There was a time where I would've said ABSOLUTELY BUY! ...but sadly that time has long past.
I have never felt so duped by a game in my life.
The mere fact that they haven't addressed the absolutely horrible, make 0 sense and nonsensical pin system by now was enough for me to write it off. And I never do that to games.
I know, and like, that this game brings a different perspective to wrestling games; and there are times I REALLY want that experience....but I cannot stand playing this game and having no idea why I pinned someone, or why someone pinned me.
It just casts a terrible shadow over the entire game.
...and don't get me started why we don't have the most BASIC of BASIC game mode options BY NOW either.
Again, don't buy.Comment

Re: Is AEW Fight Forever worth the $29.99
To go against everything I just posted above a few weeks ago, I gotta say....
While I am awaiting Hype to update his 2k24 Golden Era roster I went back to AEW for a change of pace....
I gotta say, I'm having fun. I'll leave it at that, because it kills me to think if they JUST TWEAK a few things, this game could stand on its own for a while longer until a sequel, or massive update.
For myself, all I want is:
- a slight tweaking of the pin system so I don't sometimes go "huh? why did I lose?"
- MORE match types! Nothing crazy, just variations on the basic ones.
Not askin for much here. lol
THAT'S why I still am not fully onboard currently, because the MASSIVE amount of mileage they would get from these two things, EVEN just the 2nd one, would appease sooooooo maaaaaany people.
And that's all I have to say about that.Comment
