Re: 9th Official NBA 2K24 Ratings Update - 4.18.24
Finished the Nuggets in time for their advance over the Lakers. Will start working on MIN w/ that 2nd round series set.
Real 2K Rosters Nuggets Ratings
98 (NC) Nikola Jokic (C) (#1 C)
90 (+2) Jamal Murray (PG) (#11 PG)
85 (+1) Aaron Gordon (PF/C) (#14 PF)
84 (NC) Michael Porter Jr (SF/PF) (#9 SF)
81 (+3) Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (SG/SF) (#23 SG)
77 (+2) Reggie Jackson (PG/SG)
77 (+1) Christian Braun (SF/SG)
76 (+2) Justin Holiday (SG/PG)
76 (NC) Peyton Watson (PF/SF)
76 (+3) Vlatko Cancar (PF) (INJ)
74 (+1) Zeke Nnaji (C)
74 (-2) DeAndre Jordan (C) (2K has him as the ****ing 6th/7th man)
74 (+7) Jay Huff (C) (TW)
73 (NC) Julian Strawther (SF/SG)
72 (+3) Collin Gillespie (PG) (TW)
72 (+6) Braxton Key (PF/SF) (TW)
71 (+1) Jalen Pickett (PG/SG)
71 (+1) Hunter Tyson (SF/PF)
Nuggets have four players in the Top 15 at their respective positions. Celtics are the other team who share this trait (technically the Knicks do as well, though Julius Randle is injured).
At 90 OVR, Murray is best player in history to thus far never make an All-Star team.
(Next among active players: Victor Wembanyama, Alperen Sengun, Jalen Williams, Chet Holmgren, Evan Mobley)
He rates higher than Tyrese Maxey, who made it in the East this year.
4-point dropoff from 5th starter KCP to 6th man Reggie Jackson is largest gap in NBA. Team absolutely misses Bruce Brown. A minor injury to one of their starters would be a significant blow.
DEN's Two-Ways rate higher than average as they're older & more experienced (in-line w/ DEN's win-now mode).
FWIW I like Jay Huff (2023 G-League DPOY / Career 73 TS% in 164 mins at NBA level) and he should be a 3rd center somewhere in the league if not w/ DEN. He'll give you what Zeke Nnaji does at a fraction of the cost.
R2K Nuggets Badges
45 (+2) Nikola Jokic
43 (+1) Jamal Murray
25 (+19) Reggie Jackson
23 (+10) Aaron Gordon
18 (+6) Michael Porter Jr
17 (-1) Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (Similar story w/ Hield in PHI)
11 (+9) Justin Holiday
11 (+5) Christian Braun
9 (+4) DeAndre Jordan
6 (+6) Peyton Watson
5 (+5) Julian Strawther
4 (+4) Collin Gillespie
3 (+3) Zeke Nnaji
3 (+3) Jalen Pickett
2 (+2) Vlatko Cancar
2 (+2) Hunter Tyson
1 (+1) Jay Huff
1 (+1) Braxton Key
229 (+82) Total Badges (64% Increase)
Upcoming Free Agents
Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (15M Player Option, will decline)
Reggie Jackson (5M Player Option likely exercised - above his market rate)
Vlatko Cancar (2.4M Team Option likely exercised)
Justin Holiday (Vet min)
DeAndre Jordan (Vet min)
Offseason Depth Chart
PG: Murray, Jackson (PO), Pickett
SG: KCP (UFA)
SF: Porter, Braun, Strawther, Tyson
PF: Gordon, Watson, Cancar (TO)
C: Jokic, Nnaji
Depending on what happens in playoffs, DEN could cheap out on KCP and move forward w/ Braun as starting SG.
