They are going to look past the fact that I've been snubbed by the NFL draft for the last 27 years! (They have audacity to not draft me for the mere fact stopped playing football after 7th grade! The nerve of this league!)

EA Sports is about to right an injustice!

Even even the cover/cover athlete doesn't matter to me, it would've been nice to see a non-QB on the cover. If it is Joe Burrow, I'm a little surprised that they are using a guy coming off of an injury plagged season. If that's the case, they could've went with someone like Justin Jefferson or CMC

I’m thinking they are still a year off becuase of Madden’s passing. Josh was supposed to be ‘23 and Burrow ‘24. I’m curious how far out they have to sign the Athletes for their rights to be on the cover. Otherwise doesn’t make much sense for a player who played half the year to be on it.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It would've made more sense if Josh Allen was '23 and Burrow was '24 because they were coming off near Superbowl trips the year prior.

I do wonder as well. The one thing about this past year is that there really wasn't a clear cut "He has to be on Madden Cover" guy. Maybe CMC. Excluding Pat Mahomes and Lamar, most of the notable QBs had down years, hurt, or had standard years. So, I can imagine they get back on track next year

They should pay homage to Aaron Donald and put him on the cover.

He's a guy that should've been on the cover, especially since I believe he's been consistently a 99 OVR and he's been apart of Madden reveals and promos.

I get QBs are the "Faces of the League", but other positions are just as marketable. It just feels like "Which QB should we do this time"

I can get that. It's been what, Ray Lewis, Troy P, and Sherman. It's usually a defensive player when they want to showcase a new defensive feature.
