90s Rosters for 24
I know there was a really good one with a full 40 man on 23 that I used to create 96 and 99 rosters but is anyone working on creating full either 1996, 1998 or 1999 rosters? Would love to be able to play those again, especially with Kingdome added into the game this year.Tags: None -
Re: 90s Rosters for 24
Its such a brutal process to create rosters for this game.
Unless they bring back roster ports and/or carryover franchise saves, there isn't going to be a ton of content for these games. You want free speech?
Let's see you acknowledge a man whose words make your blood boil, advocating at the top of his lungs that which you would spend a lifetime opposing at the top of yours. -
Re: 90s Rosters for 24
So I should stick with 23? Can you download your rosters you have on a different system? I have 23 for the Switch but with stadium creator I was thinking about getting 23 for my new XBox Series X so I can play my 90s rosters, but I wanted to make sure I could get them before I bought it.Comment

1992 + 1993 40-man+ Rosters for Show 22
I'm not allowed to make new threads so I'll reply to this one. I've been working on 40-man+ rosters for 1992 and 1993 for over a year now. It's taking long because I'm transferring them from Show 20 one by one and improving the appearances, batting stances, etc. for players that weren't done so well. I search for each batting stance and windup and try to get them as accurate as possible, including gear they wore that year. I use old baseball cards or search news articles for the actual pitches the players threw.
It's for Show 22 (I know it's dated already, but since rosters can't be transferred over I'm going to stick with this version).
I'm using RBU stats, they're a little strict but in simmed seasons, some teams final records were the exact wins and losses.
If you're interested, I uploaded the latest version to the vault today (3/1/25) and my username is flit_manifold838. I'll keep uploading the latest versions as long as 22 vault is kept online and hopefully finish before them before it's closed. I'm having a lot of fun doing this so I may even go for 93-man complete.
I also did some classic stadiums including reworks of others for accuracy so feel free to check them out.
Hope you enjoy!Comment

EXPOS: my man. I admire and am amazed at your dedication to making a roster. A YEAR?!!! I thought spending 3-4 months to make a college roster was long. I bow down to you.I'm not allowed to make new threads so I'll reply to this one. I've been working on 40-man+ rosters for 1992 and 1993 for over a year now. I am the way
I am the light
I am the dark inside the night.
I hear your hopes
I feel your dreams
And in the dark I hear your screams
Don't turn away, Just take my hand
I'll never leave, All I ask of you, Is Believe.

Re: 1992 + 1993 40-man+ Rosters for Show 22
Just uploaded latest versions of 1992 and 1993. Only 3 more teams to go on 1992! 1993 is patchy, moved players here and there from 1992 onto correct teams, need '93 attributes, age/contract updates, I'll finish 1993 after '92 is finished. When both have at least 40 man rosters I'll start filling in the minors more until they're near complete.Originally posted by moneyfornothing2000I have nothing but respect for your work, and I’ll definitely check it out.
It took me several months just to create a 26-man roster for the '98 Mariners and a handful of notable players from other teams.
What you’ve accomplished is truly amazing.
Still hope SDS keeps the servers up for as long as possible so I can continue to share.Comment

Re: 90s Rosters for 24
Im currently playing a season with the 98 rosters...I played 152 of 162 games winning 96 games. Currently on an incredibly dramatic Playoff Run in Game One of the World Series against the White Sox.
I traded Rickey Henderson to the Cards for Ron Gant early in the season. Henderson went on to steal 50 bases in STL to lead MLB. McGwire hit 55 home runs.
The MLB record instead fell to Frank Thomas who hit 64 homeruns.
Anyways, classic rosters are where its at.Comment

Re: 90s Rosters for 24
I’m in the mode now where I will always be one game behind because I only want to play retro roster and more specifically full 90+ man rosters. So your roster is right in my wheel house.
1994 as a Cubs fan with Ryno being my favorite player was a disaster IRL. So I’m going to change that. I’m kinda treating it as a 1993ish roster and am building a universe where Ryno doesn’t break his hand prior to ‘93 so he doesn’t see the power drain that happened. So I’m kinda building him in his 1991/1992 mode (.300, 25+ HR, 100 rbi with gold glove defense). So no early retirement
. I’m thinking the addition of this Ryno with help greatly in addition to the emerging Sammy they will make this 1994 cubs squad more competitive.

Re: 90s Rosters for 24
I stumbled on a ratings calculator and I have come up with what I feel like is a nice rating for a 1992ish Ryno that I will be using on this 1994 roster. Ryno's 1992 had the following slash numbers: .304/.371/.510. More advanced numbers were a .210 Iso, 10.6 K rate and a 9.9 BB rate. I just used total slash number and not platoon splits so when put into this calculator it gave the following numbers for SandbergI’m in the mode now where I will always be one game behind because I only want to play retro roster and more specifically full 90+ man rosters. I feel like this is a pretty fair rating for trying to recreate the version of Ryno I'm trying to. His fielding will be in the 90's and speed will be in the high 70's to low 80's. He hit .312 late and close in 1992 so I figure his clutch rating will be in the 89-90 range. I used this calculator to come up with rating for about 50 stars of the area and will be making those adjustments.Last edited by SFNiners816; 03-28-2025, 03:29 PM.Comment

Re: 1992 + 1993 40-man+ Rosters for Show 22
I just posted a new 1992 40-man+ update for 1992 (Show 22) as well as 1993 which needs more work (I'll finish that next). As a fellow Mariners fan, the M's are over 40 players and near complete. I only have 2 1/2 more teams on 1992 40-man+ (Show 22).Originally posted by moneyfornothing2000I have nothing but respect for your work, and I’ll definitely check it out.

Also, just picked up Show 24 the other day, found a decent 1998 roster but it doesn't have any minors. Right now I'm also working on that, adding minors, fixing up some players who I don't think think look quite right, etc. I probably won't attempt to do all of the minors for 1998, I just want to enjoy the game itself already! However, I do plan to do complete the minors for my M's and Expos. I'll announce here when I drop a file!Comment
