Yup, we need a full quarter, something ...gameplay is the most important thing.

Exactly. Some extended clips of different games showing the gameplay is the only thing lacking. Everything LOOKS great, but the gameplay is the most important item.

No. Gameplay does not look good in the few clips that I’ve seen.

There’s a clip on Reddit of BYU and West Virginia.

That gameplay actually looks troubling.

All of this extra stuff is great. But, none of it matters if the gameplay is unremarkable.

As an aside, in the ps2 golden era we typically would have had at least a few minutes of gameplay footage this close to release.

Granted, there was no ea play back then.

No need to panic and make irrational assumptions. We are 14 days from early release. I'm sure between now and next week, someone will get an early copy, like Matt Brown or someone. Thinking that EA is hiding something comes off like beaten dog syndrome.

I’m generally not a fan of conspiracy theories. However, given their past history, it’s not exactly a reach to think that they’d be up to something untoward.

If EA wants good will and the benefit of the doubt, they need to earn it.

So, a completely different development team, consisting of guys from the community(Revamped Team), guys formerly of NBA 2k development teams, and guys who were instrumental in making some of the best NCAA games of the PS2/PS3 era...they put in all of these ridiculous hours of painstaking work, to bring this game back just to hide gameplay from the public...on purpose, is what we're thinking? We really thinking that?

If/when the search features starts working again, you can go back and see for yourself when Ben, on these very boards, openly talking wanting to "keep the spin positive."

I was also here when the devs for their college basketball game came to these boards to push their product. They KNEW that the game would offer no post launch support and that EA was pulling the plug on the series, yet didn't utter a bleeping word.

It was disgraceful.

The individual parts don't matter so much. The EA machine is what it is.
Give it the benefit of the doubt at your own peril. They have a history of slight of hand.


And, spare me the talk about all of the painstaking work they put into bringing this game back. That's the job. Period.

In big time cfb and in the NFL, coaches routinely dedicate countless hours to their jobs. They miss recitals, birthdays, weddings. And, guess what, they still get fired. In any endeavor, one can work tirelessly and it still not be good enough.

It's about results.

Who has the game? All the content creators went to that event at EA at the end of May, and played it there. But none of them actually have the game.
