No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
This game looks amazing but if you are going to rebuild the PAC you need the 6+6 and I didn’t see anything mentioning to be able to do it. I wouldn’t surprised if it’s there when we get it though. I would really like to know if it’s possible.Just another Ohio State Buckeye

Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
In the Deep Dive it said it's the 5+1, with Notre Dame and the Pac-12 not being able to be any higher than #5 in the CFP. Either would have to play a 1st round game if they made it in. It may be something they could change?? I don't know."Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up" -
Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
Curious on this too as I plan to restore the Pac 12 and big 12 conferences. Although. I’m cool with the 5+7 model as long as the other champions are actually rated based off the schedule played within the season.Comment

Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
They got the exclusive rights to the CFP so if it's not in real life, I doubt they'll include it in game. I think Matt Brown or someone else asked in the past of possibly reverting back to a 4 team playoff and they said no/refuted it because of the rights to CFP and staying true to what it is.Comment

Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
One of the screenshots I saw in the deep dive had me slightly nervous for the ranking logic. 9-3 Texas being ranked over 10-2 Georgia, 12-1 Utah, and 10-2 Ohio State. Of course, I don't know the schedules or quality of win/loss, but if it's anything like 14, then Georgia lost to two ranked teams, one of which being road/neutral site, while Texas lost a home game by two touchdowns to an unranked team.Comment

Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
What about creating prospects/draft classes?
That's one of my favorite thing to do on NCAA Football. I create themed classes and try to recruit some each year.
And heard we might not be able to edit player's attributes...
So I can't improve a players catching/speed, on my own game?
That seems ridiculous, especially since we already know they are a joke.
4-10 Colorado being ranked and Big 12 Co-Favorites Kansas State not.Comment

Well it mimics real life as Florida state didn’t get in so any common sense is out the window.

Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
Create a prospect is NOT in this year's version, and you can't edit the incoming recruits that are generated either (couldn't do that in the earlier version either BTW). Editing player attributes is not in either--at least as far as the real players. Nobody seems to know if we can edit the generic players on our roster or not.Comment

Pretty sure that just means add a prospect from the big pool to your target list.Boston Red Sox

Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
This is a massive L for the game, because it means if you want to roll conference back a year and have an actual P5, you’ll never have a G5 team in the playoff like we are going to have and like we would have had had the P12 not imploded. I’m not sure why the CFP would have a problem with them having a slider for how many conference champions get auto bids and it would be a relatively easy thing to program in.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: No ability to customize to a 6+6 CFP format
Before the PAC imploded we were going to get 6 conference champions so the G5 had access. Now we get 5, so the G5 has access. Rebuild the PAC and the G5 won’t have access to the playoff which takes a lot away from doing a G5 team in dynasty.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment
