I'm deciding between Nebraska. San Diego or Houston and UTEP. I'd like to take a former power to Glory or take a smaller school and use it as a stepping stone towards a larger job. Nebraska had its glory years and it would be fun to rekindle. The rest have the pipeline opportunities just need some help. I'm also big on the intros and pageantry of college football so a fun team chant or into in game helps. Loved what I saw with Penn State and the mawcot.opening the gates.

Which team and Why?
Which team will you be using, and why? Or what teams are you deciding between? Maybe we can all help one another narrow it down.

Re: Which team and Why?
UTEP is definitely in my top 5. For me, I need to see the uniforms and the stadiums before making a final decision. Hopefully one of the YTers or someone else who gets it early will release a video scrolling through everything. If not that'll be the first thing I do with my EA Play hours. -
Re: Which team and Why?
I'm in the "still trying to decide" boat.
I'll be starting at a lower ranked school, likely one in the MAC. I'm leaning toward using one of the "Directional" Michigan schools to begin with, starting off as an offensive coordinator. I want to build a low-ranked team up, and stay in the general Midwest region.
I think I want to give Tulane a run, too, simply for their uniforms!Last edited by MrArlingtonBeach; 07-10-2024, 02:40 PM.Orbis Non SuficitComment

Re: Which team and Why?
Nebraska.
I have spent years playing Nebraska in previous NCAA versions. All that time they were relatively competitive, and had tried and true teams in the game.
Anxious now that they are down, and have a great opportunity to build the program.
Happy to see they aren't a "toughest place to play", don't have elite top 100 talent, and aren't rated in the top of the offense and defense.
Very excited to build the program from it's current state."Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory."Comment

Re: Which team and Why?
Army as an OC. This could just as easy been Navy or. Air Force. Why? 'Murica , baby, 'Murica.
The ultimate aim as HC is Syracuse. Why? Because Jim Brown is the OG of GOATs. Why (part two)? Because Ernie Davis is the Jackie Robinson of the Heisman. Despite the lack of many many championships, a bad day in Syracuse stiil beats a great day at Rutgers, or 132 other schools.T-BONE.

#1 UNC Tar Heels
Goes without saying lol. That's home team, my favorite team/program in all of sports. I gotta lead em to a Natty!
#2 Georgia Southern
I want to bring them back to the type of success they had in FCS. Bring that culture of physicality back by pounding the rock! And I love their uniforms!"Dunks are tough, but when a 35 footer come rainin out the sky...it'll wire you up"Comment

Re: Which team and Why?
Probably going to be in an online dynasty with my buddies from middle school across the country. I will be using UCLA and showing them why California trumps most other places.
Another dynasty I will be using New Mexico. No reason other than them never really being that good. Will be fun to make them dominate imo.NFL - Las Vegas Raiders
NBA - Los Angeles Lakers
MLB - Los Angeles Dodgers
NHL - Los Angeles Kings
MLS - Los Angeles Galaxy
EPL - Newcastle UnitedComment

Re: Which team and Why?
Notre Dame or Teambuilder school. I'm a Notre Dame alumnus and loved what the school used to be about. Kind of don't like the direction they've taken the school recently both from an athletic and academic direction so it's why I'm considering the Teambuilder route. I always made Teambuilders schools in the past sometimes though but if I go that route this time it would be my main dynasty. I would be making a fictional school based in Buffalo, NY.Comment

Re: Which team and Why?
Miami - favorite team
Plan is to play as the existing coach and roll from there. Hoping my sliders can be difficult enough that it's realistically challenging to the point that even if I have the best roster in the nation I need some luck to go 11-1 or 12-0. Upsets happen and I don't want to be immune.
If TeamBuilder is available and allows us to pick our rivals and pipelines, then I'll do at least one dynasty with a TB team playing as a coordinator. OC if the custom playbook feature is solid. DC if it's the same garbage as Madden.
If TB isn't available or doesn't allow us to choose rivals and pipelines, then I will roll with one of the worst teams in the game. Preferably a team that had an actual coaching change this past off-season. Again, OC if the custom playbook feature works, DC if it is terrible.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Make sure you don’t kneel out the clock for ultimate realism. It’s a reoccurring problem with Cristobal.Comment

Re: Which team and Why?
I'll be using a few teams in Dynasty, at least at first.
1. Southern Miss - Alumni and they will be a challenge to rebuild.
2. Notre Dame - I'm a fan and want to run as the Irish.
3. Ole Miss - I really only want to use them to see if I can get Arch Manning to transfer there after the first season and following in his Grandfather and Uncle's footsteps.
I may decide on one more from the Big 10 or 12 but for now that's who I'm planning on running with.Check out my updated 2017 blog on building a high school football video game:
