I can run the game at better graphics and higher frame rates on PC..not to mention the possibility of modding.

before you get your hopes too high, we will have to wait and see how modding even works in the first game of the newer generation. I remember back in 2k15 there were close to no mods, as modders first had to "decipher" how the whole file system was structured and what was necessary to make the mods work. could be the same here.

It's unlikely that it will be meaningfully different, given that tons of new-gen assets / functionality is already present under the hood on old-gen, and the new-gen stuff works the same way the old-gen stuff did, more or less. If new-gen had been 'built from the ground up' as originally advertised, then I think you'd have a point, but just by playing we can all tell it wasn't, and digging into the old-gen files and seeing all the new-gen stuff only reinforces that fact.

Not a PC player but happy for everyone who plays on PC. I don't understand why 2K does this since PCs can all run next gen games with no issues.

The ability to play MyNBA mode and have GMs not in tenure forever when I switch back and forth from all team control to 1 team.


A roster editor is all I need, so that I can fix all the issues that keep coming up in every 2k around player stats history and league expansion.
