Is there gonna be a Season Mode?

Does anybody know if there is gonna be a season mode or in Dynasty can you play games that don’t involve your team? Thanks!

EA Sports has only announced a season mode as a component of Ultimate Team, and that probably won’t be what you are looking for.

Based on how Franchise mode in Madden operates, I would call it “likely” that there will be options available to enable CPU assistance for recruiting, coach progression, and the coaching carousel in Dynasty mode so that you could minimize the number of things you have to focus on outside of games, but those assistant options have not been announced.

Similar to Franchise mode in Madden, each user character may only use one team, and you do not have the option to play or watch games which do not involve user-controlled teams.

Thanks CM Hooe, I was looking forward to playing some of the other bowl games. I’m not really into Dynasty mode, I guess I’ll have to look forward to Dynasty.😃 Thanks!

If you play an offline Dynasty, you have the option to create up to 32 users, and users are free to swap between teams at any time. This will allow you to hot swap between teams during the season as you wish.

The downside to this approach is that you will not be able to use TeamBuilder teams. I believe EA Sports has said TeamBuilder teams may only be used in Play Now and private online Dynasty saves.

Ok...maybe I misunderstood. I am strictly an offline, season user...so based on your explanation I will be able to play w/ random teams.

I admittedly am making an assumption here that the game will offer users a "Retire" option similar to Franchise mode in Madden, and my description of the ability to swap teams is based on how that command works in Madden.

Additionally, if CFB25 requires users to create coaches as opposed to selecting to embody an existing coach, swapping between teams frequently could be disruptive to teams' coaching staffs. We won't really know for sure what we can do until next week.

Same w/ me. I love playing certain games, particularly the Army/Navy game...and a few intriguing bowl matchups. This is what makes CFB so much more appealing than Madden. Even making an All-America team felt so much rewarding. Just wish there was some sort of all-star game.

So are you saying if we create classic teams on TB we still can't use them in a single player offline Dynasty?

I hope EA didn't go screwing this option up because I love to watch CPU vs CPU games and select 3-4 different matchup on the weekly schedule

The exact language EA Sports has used about TeamBuilder in the Dynasty Campus Huddle blog is as follows:

TeamBuilder schools is only available at the creation of the league and they can only be used in private Online Dynasties, so make sure your Commissioner knows which school you want to use when getting the Online Dynasty started.

And from the Welcome to CFB Campus Huddle blog:

Team Builder content can be used in offline Play Now and private Dynasty modes. Internet connection & EA account required.

Seems pretty straightforward, unfortunately for offline Dynasty players.

I’m actually not 100% sure of this. It could be read that way, but it could also be read as just saying that you can’t use TB teams in public dynasties as opposed to private ones. I think your interpretation is how most people would take it, but I could see it being the other way.

It seems extremely odd they would block them from offline dynasties. I get why they aren’t doing public ones so I don’t have to play the Fighting Hitlers, but private online and offline would both make sense.

One thing though; are you saying we can’t (in madden since I’m guessing it’ll work the same way) do a private online dynasty and use the retiring thing to play other games?
