What will be the first play you call? A run, a long pass, an option? Or will you do what some have suggested and which I think I'll do, which is to take a knee. In honor of the 10 lost years.

In NCAA Football 2002, I won the only national championship I've ever earned in a college football video game running a (stupid) pass-heavy offense out of the Flexbone.

As such, I will call exactly one pass play out of the Flexbone before I figure out the actual offense I'm going to run lol.

Then, it's a read option. Gotta see how corners react in this game. Then if I have enough time, slip in a pump fake to see if DB's really react to it realistically.

What I want to know is who scripts out their first series every game, like teams do in real life. I need to see my playbook first to see exactly which pass and run play, but I'm pretty sure my first drive is going to be run pass run pass run pass until the first series is over.

Run heavy spread option guy here (think prime Kelly, Malzahn, Meyer, Rodriguez) so most likely I’ll run a triple option play from the SG.
