EA Sports College Football 25 Q&A

That 4600 College Football Points you get when ordering the 3 day early, $99 version of 25 , what is that? Can they be used in Dynasty mode? Or are they more an Ultimate Team mode thing?

If they introduce microtransactions for dynasty mode it would piss A LOT of people off including me.

I'm assuming those points are just for ultimate team. I don't think EA is ready for that kind of blowback.

They could implement them in RTG for equipment like The Show does. That would make it worthwhile for me at least.

I too was contemplating upping my version, but none of the perks aside from 3 days early does the trick for me. Guess the 10 hour free trial will have to suffice.

I guess it depends in how they implement it. They still do that in MLB the Show but it's only for things like sound effects and home run calls in the stadium, as well as different celebrations and stuff you can use on any player once you purchase it.

I was thinking they were possibly something similar to Madden Franchise when you earn points and spend them on coaching trees and stuff but if its just for CUT thats mid

The worst-case scenario is they encourage users to pay actual money toward recruitment advancement when dealing with NIL.

That would be ironic, hilarious and terrible all at once.

EA Sports College Football 25: Tips, Tricks, Answers

After 14 years and 3 children, I’m hoping I’m not the only one struggling.

I think it would be a good idea to have some where we could come ask for help.

My first question is with the new passing is it still hold for bullet, press for touch, tap for lob?

I’m struggling to figure out how to throw a perfect accuracy touch or lob pass.

My question is can we create teams? I always created the Maine Black Bears in the old NCAA games , don't see a way to do it in this one.

There will be TeamBuilder added at some point, allowing for the creation of schools.

More info about that should arrive later this week.

A couple questions I have, as I wait for the standard edition to release on Friday:

                      - is there a trophy room anywhere?

                      - is there any kind of "Jump Around" after the 3rd quarter at Camp Randall? I don't believe they have the rights to the actual song, but I know they used some generic songs to replicate certain traditions at other schools (like a generic 'Enter Sandman' knockoff at VT).

I am going to continue to ask this until I see a good explanation lol

Can someone help me understand the passing mechanics some? I was using revamped and was averaging 3-4 INTs a game in my Old Dominion dynasty. Started on Heisman and had to knock it down to All-american. I could not float passes over the LBs and it seemed like every CB/FS/SS was a 99OVR.

I rather not go back to the classic passing and want to learn the new mechanics. Any tips? Also, what on earth do L2 and L1 do when passing? Can't find any information on what exactly those buttons do (I haven't played an EA football game since NCAA '14).

I haven't either and the ratings are much different or I don't know how to pass properly. I was playing ULM and their starting QB (General Booty) has a 95 Throwing Power and he seemed to float a lot of passes. I checked because I thought he was about a 75 TP but saw his strength was 55. I put in his backup who had a lower TP and better strength and he had better zip. While strength DID effect throwing velocity in 14 it appears more of a factor in this game. Disclaimer: I played one game and this was my impression. I could very well be wrong about this.

Is press coverage broken or is it just me? I've run it 4 times and every time it results in a long pass TD by the computer. My corners are rated 90 and 87 overall and I wasn't playing any game breaking WRs, so I'm baffled.
