    Dynasty Quarter Length?

I know it’s early, but the clock work and moments play is similar to Madden so I was wondering what people were playing on to get most realistic stats?

Is there a big difference in what you use if you’re going to play a whole game vs just play key moments?

I have a similar Q. I was thinking 6 or 7 minutes depending on how easy it is to rip off chunk plays.

I was rocking full 15-min quarters and it's probably a bit too much. I was only playing offense. I can't throw the ball so my RB for Old Dominion was going for at least 150 a game--against Pitt, Va Tech and South Carolina. Each score was like 56-24. Was using accelerated clock, too.

Played my first game at 8 minutes accelerated clock was not nearly enough plays. Played 10 minutes the next and still don’t think it’s right going to try 12. This game is fun I’m playing as Sam Houston on All American and I suck. I am old Bill Walsh was released on Sega summer before my sophomore year of college, I’ve had every game since.

I did 6 and thought it worked out ok. Might move to 7.

          Did not use accelerated clock

I played 10 minutes without the accelerated clock and I ran too many plays. My starting RB had 21 carries for 159 yards at halftime.

Right now, 12-minutes with accelerated clock to 12-seconds.

I tried five minute quarters playing “offense only” and had four touchdowns in the last three minutes of the fourth. I then switched to playing eight minute quarters with accelerated clock and playing both sides of the ball. I had more realistic stats with the eight minute settings than the five minute mode.

15 minutes, Accel clock 10 seconds. Doesn’t allow you to go stand and make 3 hot routes. Really nice to see calling a hot route and in one of the toughest places to play stadiums and you end up getting a delay of game because of the chaos. Forces you to really look at play calling.

I’ve never allowed myself to use hot routes as it makes the game too easy. I always just run the plays as designed.

15 min Quarters with 16 sec Runoff. My Offense ran 85 plays last game. The other team ran 66. I played Offense only though, and I wasn't using no huddle either.

I won’t have the game until Friday, but I run a run- heavy triple option. I’m going 15 minutes with accelerated clock to see what happens. I just want a realistic number of plays with a realistic stats.

                            Re: Dynasty Quarter Length?

In 4 games yesterday, I ran 10 minute quarters with 20 second run off. It was about 110 plays per game on average.

Scores were 31-7, 24-17, 54-27, 41-0. Round about on a couple of those as I am not home right now. I was Kent State for all 4 and lost all 4. Opponents were Pitt, Southern Miss, Tennessee, and Penn State.

Turnovers caused a couple of those scores to be higher.

Will be trying 11 minutes with 20 second run off tonight.

I've always played 15 minutes and on offense I run the play clock down below 10 seconds before snapping the ball. I also run the ball a lot to drain clock.

I don't intend to change now.
