Is it just me or does the "Big Game" audio team sound awful? Chris has no emotion, large gaps of silence and Kirk rarely says anything. Big difference compared to the standard audio team

Rece Davis is on the standard, 3-man crew. I assume you're referring to Chris Fowler?

This needs to be addressed ASAP as possible. It's definitely the one place this game is sorely hurting. The 3 man team is ironically better than the big game team. They need to record in studio together, not separately.

Yeah it’s really bad, which stinks because I think the broadcast team of Davis, Pollack, & Palmer is actually really good. Unless they fix it I’m going to play all my play now games with their commentary team.

One of the announcers is actually head and shoulders above the rest, I think it might be Pollack. It’s either him or Palmer, I mean significantly better. Herbstreit and Fowler sound like people who can’t act that are trying to act, it just is so stilted and lifeless. I really wish EA would just have actors in these commentator roles, I know they would NEVER do it, but I’d much rather hear fictional commentators that sound authentic than authentic commentators that sound fictional.

I think it’s Pollack, but Rece Davis’ play by play sounds pretty good too.

What audio settings, within the game, does everyone use? I typically use “100” on Stadium, Crowd, Field, Announcers….but it sounds bad on this game. I hate to turn the crowd and stadium lower; but the announcers sound bad when they are all at the same level.

Yes, I was genuinely impressed by the 3-man team when playing last night. They sounded really good and I much prefer them over Fowler and Herbstreit.

Would be awesome if they could bring back Gus Johnson to be on one of the teams. He used to be in Madden some years back but I think his style compliments college football much better. Could you imagine playing this game and hearing Gus' "Wow!" during or after a big play? Would be insane.

Aside from Rece being clueless as to why I'd call a timeout right before the half, and his sometimes over-the-top screaming on TDs, I really enjoy the 3-man team. Haven't played enough of the main team to know yet.

They would need ESPN’s permission, but it might be better to just comb thru hundreds of games these guys have actually called and steal the audio snippets. It would sound more authentic to me than whatever script they write.
