Pinpoint Accuracy
Is anyone else concerned with this pinpoint accuracy we see in the game? I saw it in all of the gameplay videos but didn’t want to poop on y’all parade but whether it’s Alabama or San Jose State every QB is on the money with the throws, it’s just a matter of whether the pass is caught or defended.

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
For me the key has been pressure. To really force a bad or inaccurate throw you need to get pressure on the QB. Let me preface that by saying I've only played like 3 games total, so take what I say with a grain of salt.Is anyone else concerned with this pinpoint accuracy we see in the game? Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
Definitely not concerned. Playing as a MAC school and bad quarterbacks show through. Pressure helps but I have had overthrown and under thrown passes without pressure.Funkycorm

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
Play on Heisman against Bama or OSU defense! Then let me know how accurate you are. I went 18/19 with LSU against Bama…at Bam…but it was a complete struggle!!!! Quick passes and let my WR do the damage.Comment

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
Im for sure seeing this from the CPU, but me, lol nope. Feel like I have no time to throw at all and constantly throwing under pressureI wouldn't ever set out to hurt anyone deliberately unless it was, you know, important -like a league game or something.

I am not sure what I am missing but 18/19 seems to support that accuracy I’m referring to.Comment

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
In a handful of play now games on default All American I’ve had plenty of passes hit the ground (due to inaccuracy) from my Michigan QB as well as CPU controlled QBs from MSU, Minnesota, Florida, Navy, etc.Favorite Teams:
College #1: Michigan Wolverines
College #2: Michigan State Spartans (my alma mater)
College #3: North Carolina Tar Heels
NHL: Detroit Redwings

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
Lol bubble screens and short mesh routes got me through it. Not ideal. Also one thing I noticed is that defenses make mistakes. I love that about this game. Guys bite and jump routes…sometimes make a costly decisions. Hopefully that translates to Madden’s AI

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
I'm and i posted in reddit. Since all were too happy to get NCAA back they didn't care but those Overthrows are MIA. Passes are Catched, deflected or bounced somewhere first before hitting the ground. There are no passes that hit the grass first. All passes are withing the catchable frame even bad qbs. and even if you throw in "RED"Is anyone else concerned with this pinpoint accuracy we see in the game? Edit: Played 3 games with Kent state. like many said, the incomplete passes are cause mainly by pressure and still the pass does not hit the ground first, it goes to the Wr frame.English, is not my first language.Comment

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
I'm doing a dynasty with Rice, and I've already yelled at my QB numerous times for missing a wide open WR. Usually throws out of reach or much further lead than I was trying to lead them.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights
NCAAF: Ohio State
NFL: Minnesota Vikings

Re: Pinpoint Accuracy
Playing with Arizona State on All American. Starting a Freshman QB who is 76-78ish. Played 6 games. Never seen a pass hit the dirt unless I got hit when I threw it. Not once. Not even when I'm on the run.
This is a major, major issue and I think the most concerning thing is that the devs bragged about how this is an improvement when they talked about the new passing mechanics... This was a design decision. And I don't think they're going to change it.
Been playing CFB all night and I went back and played a game of Madden 24 and my 97 OVR QB threw 5-8 unpressured throws in the dirt. It was so refreshing. It was also nice that I could actually see the playart when I was choosing a play so I actually knew what routes my guys were running lol.Comment
