    Mid game dynasty saves

Has anyone found a way to do a mid game save in either online or offline dynasty? Tried both earlier and it seems like you wind up just restarting the game fresh when you load it back up.

The general game restore option that is on the consoles themselves is not working for EACFB?

There's no in-game save option though, no. Hasn't been one in any EA games that I recall in quite some time.

I always thought it was odd on PC at any point in a Madden game you could quit to desktop and it would automatically save your progress.

Even more odd (at least in my thinking) if you chose quit to main screen instead of quit to desktop your game did not get saved.

I would have never dreamed quit to desktop meant save your in progress game.

Quick resume is hopefully going to be my saving grace here, havent tried it cause I didn't want to run my ea play trial down but ill give it a shot later.

I was referring to how in madden 24 if you quit out of even a play now game you get the option to resume. Pretty sure that was in connected franchise as well at least on pc.

Oh you just mean the straight up "Continue" thing, I gotcha. Yeah I don't believe that's in here, I just thought you were talking about the super old-school "save in-game" feature from years ago.

Gotcha, yeah I'm basically just looking for a way to run longer quarters without needing an hour plus of uninterrupted gaming time. Hopefully quick resume works, I know in the past it's been dodgy when using the ea play trial but then fine for the full game.

Can anyone with the full game confirm that you can put your Xbox to sleep and resume the Dynasty game without everything crapping out from disconnecting to EA Play? Online or offline Dynasty would be good to know.

I don’t have the time to play uninterrupted any more unfortunately, so I’d like to know this before I buy. Thanks!

Not sure about Xbox but on PS5 u get disconnected from the server and have to play the game from the beginning if your console go into rest mode mid game

Just this morning I started a dynasty game on Xbox but had to put it on hold. I went to the pause menu of the game, left it there. After I came back after couple of hours, started my console back up and then restarted the game, I was taken right back to the pause menu of my dynasty game where I was able to complete it.

I’ve been playing NCAA since about NCAA 08 or so. I had been playing 14 on and off for the past 10 years. The o my three things I really wanted from this game was:

                    1. Better graphics
                    2. Better gameplay
                    3. The ability to save in-game whenever I want.

It’s such a QOL thing that I just assumed would be in this game since it’s been in Madden for years. The ability to put the console in rest mode during a game, then do whatever you want and when you come back you can resume that game mode where you left off. Even if you switch apps or the game/console update.

I haven’t tried it yet, but I would be furious if this isn’t in the game.

On Xbox, it does work for me as stated above

It works only for xbox, not for PS5, but it has its drawbacks. For example if there's a game patch in between, the game has to be reloaded, and you lose the save. If you switch profile, the same will happen. But surely better than nothing if the devs are careless about it.

I’ll just say the XBox system rest is not 100% - one of my games I put it to sleep and the game had to reload when I came back

Quick resume isn’t reliable. My XBox constantly have to restart the app. I really wish I could save my game progress and pick up where I left off.

I was able to pause the game and then just shut off the ps5. When I came back and turned on the ps5 and loaded the game it brought me right back to the pause menu and I was able to continue my game.
