How do we feel? I'd like to hear the opinions of real players. Hard to say it's not a madden reskin when it's literally the same as madden. Just curips what others are thinking after a few days.

There's no doubt there are similaritys which isn't necessarily a bad thing but there are just too many differences for it to be a clone.T-BONE.

While it does use the Frostbite engine (like Madden) to say this game is a "reskin" imo is completely inaccurate.
There were always going to be similarities between the 2 games, but no...I don't buy into the whole "Madden reskin" thing.
I never bought into the whole "built from the ground up" talk like so many seem to hang their hat on, but it is what is is.

There are a lot of similarities between the two, but CFB25 is like if you took Madden 24 and made it 10 times better. I don't mind the "re-skin" label as long as you point out that the so-called "re-skin" has turned into a far superior game.There... are... four... lights!Comment

It's a tweaked reskin. There is a particular coop glitch that has been in Madden the last 4 years and it's doing it on this game as well. This was their chance to rebuild the game from the ground up which they're too cheap to do. This game is fun! But you're fooling yourself if you believe it's not a reskin that has been cleaned up and sped up.
I'm buying it and my wife and I will have fun, but I'm disappointed they took the cheap easy way out. Those legacy coding issues will cause problems down the road the same way it has Madden.Comment

Like all others have said, similarities yes (some) re-skin? Nah not by a mile.
Imo this is the best football video game I have ever played, it's not a honey moon faze, or new fresh car paint, this game is the truth!
Yeah there's things that need tighting up but it truly is an amazing game. This is coming from someone who was actually not going to even get this game.
I'm very fortunate and thankful to have it. Game is absolutely incredible.I stream a variety of video games for relaxation and fun.

Yeah, I hope Madden takes from this game, but no, it doesn't feel like a re-skin. IMO, It's 50/50.
Fun game, but alot of the Madden in it.
For example, The broken sim engine is directly from Madden.

It feels like a game that took existing frameworks that Madden uses and tweaked them and the added in built from the ground up features to round out the package. That's technically not a re-skin. It would have been foolish to expect them to build every single part of this game from the ground up. It'd still be in development and have another 4+ years before release if that's the route they had went.
While it feels similar to Madden given both are football games and share some systems, it feels unique enough to where it feels like an entirely separate game. If Madden's gameplay feels this satisfying to play, then it will be a good year for video game football.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Definitely not a reskin, the game speed is sped up a bit and the camera angles during play are different, which not a fan of. However everything else about this game is greatComment
