Yeah yeah i know you are all fine with the speed. Get back to me when you are in your 50’s. EA i will give you a quarter to put a game speed slider in here. It is a staple, and i am old. Please and thank you.

I just want the players to move more realistically. If they want to keep the current game speed for all online play, then have at it. But at least include the option for those who want to make their own offline experience a little more sim.Last edited by Pokes404; 07-19-2024, 08:01 PM.Comment

Here to add another voice advocating for a game speed slider. Either the traditional “very slow, slow, normal, fast, very fast”, or a 0-100 sliding scale, would be fine. While the game plays and looks great under a lot of circumstances, there are some animation transitions and player movement that would look more natural/authentic if slowed down a bit. I understand such a slider could only function in single-player or OD settings; naturally the default ranked head-to-head gameplay would use the default game speed and that’s just fine.Comment

Why would anyone have an issue with having adjustable game speed? If it's fine for you, then there's no issue. But if it isn't, having an option to slow the game down doesn't seem like a bad thing to me.Comment

Speed kills. I wonder if thats why my defense sucks. I realize I'm ten years older than the last time I played this much college football, so my stick skillz are rusty, but I never played this bad defense in the PS3 era. Not ready to shake my fist at the clouds but Varsity level never gave me this much trouble. At this rate (after one week lol) it will be Christmas before I'm All-American ready.Talk about things nobody cares.

I'm in my late 20s and have seriously underestimated the ages of the vets here. I've probably been browsing OS since 2009-2010 and assumed everyone was in their 20s-30s (excluding myself). I'm now realizing that those people probably were in their 30s but are now pushing retirementComment

The speed issue with CFB25 is only apparent for me when playing defense. Defenders are always slower than offensive players, even if the offensive player has the ball.
Other people may feel the entire game is too fast, which I don't agree with but completely understand. I wanted a faster madden and got it.Comment

Have you guys checked the accessibility settings in the main menu? There is an option there to enlarge the on-screen graphics. I don't remember exactly how it's worded nor do I know exactly what it enlarges, but perhaps it's what you are needing.
As for the speed, my suggestion is to try adjusting the speed threshold slider towards 100. Me personally, I use it at 95 and it is fine.
