    Your Bread And Butter Play.

We all probably have multiple multiple favorite plays to run and a ton of them can be run from different formations but with the game on the line, what is your bread and butter play you look to go to?

Any of those Slant plays are the one I try not to go to the well too often because I want it to work when I need it most. Even then tho, with fifteen minute quarters, there are stilll plenty opportunities to run them.

If I only need a yard, there are so many great plays to run, I haven't found myself overusing any one particular play. I'll run a HB dive inside as often as I will a toss outside or a FB dive or a QB sneak or blast.

I also went with the custom playbook and put every single wildcat in it. Since I love to run with a scrambling QB, I have found running the wildcat helps reduce the wear and tear on my QB. Which reminds me, I need to back and add some shotgun plays with the HB Direct.

I also want to give some love to thee speed option. If you can perfect the pitch, you are going to eventually open up your passing game even if your QB strength is scrambling.

Any play that has a drag route or route to the flats.

Jet touch pass works really well. I don't have it in the playbook of my current dynasty, though.

My favorite has been the RPO plays.

Specifically, the ones with a bubble screen on one side and a slant on the other. A quick read pre-snap will tell me which side to go and a second quick read after the snap will tell me if I go with the pass or inside zone.

I also love the drag/cross combo. A quick read of the LB will tell me if I can go drag and get some nice yards after the catch or long on the cross.

The RPO play where the TE leaks out to the flat is basically a guaranteed TD at the goal line. The RPO bubble screens are also awesome. And if I have a fast QB I’ll always love standard read options. The veer and shoot playbook is so fun.

I'll let you know when I find it.

Half joking. The UMass build has been tough.

Right now, the three I lean on the most, and none are money pays, are power read, WR screen RPO out of wide stacked or wide bunch, and then RPO hitch out of trips and spread.

Given my RB is a power back, I have speed at WR, and a mobile QB who can't throw deep consistently, I have to rely on those three concepts to get this veer and shoot running with any efficiency.

I'm with Funkycorm & GoDucks. I have always loved the RPO in real football as a concept, and EA's implementation of it in the game is reasonably decent. I like that you could essentially run the same "play" all the way down the field, but really it's many different plays depending on what the defense does.

For example, I had a drive where on paper it was something like: run for 7 yards, pass for 15, pass for 2, run for 3, run for 7, pass for 8, and then run for 22, but really it was the same RPO just read differently each time. I think that's kinda cool (and it does happen in real college football sometimes).

That’s basically the foundation of the veer and shoot which is why I think it’s so fun lol. Run the same play over and over again with a different read almost every time.

I have been mostly tooling around with different teams and playbooks to just see everything in the game, and I only last night first encountered the Veer-and-shoot. I think that's gonna be my playbook going forward.

                              Weirdly, inside zone.

Possibly the most boring answer here, sure, but the new blocking assignments UI in tandem with my intermediate ability to read defensive fronts and also the presence of a 340 lb offensive guard in my starting lineup means when I am able set up that big guy to shoot straight up to a linebacker, I’m getting five yards or more without negotiation lol.

My second choice would be Y-Off Counter. I’m gonna go tell an Air Raid coach to get off my lawn now.
