Facemask calls, or lack thereof

I think I have played ~20 games ranging from Varsity to All-American difficulty and I have not seen one facemask. Has anyone else seen this? Any sliders that could possibly make this more realistic?

I have seen many of them, but not until I increased the slider. Think I am somewhere between 85-95 at the moment and they seemed to be called realistically enough for me.

I don’t see enough, but I see about 4 or 5 in a season with the slider on 70. Clearly I need to increase it more.

I think so, until I started getting up to the high 80's /90's, I wasn't seeing enough. At some point, I might even go for 100.

I’ve been meaning to make this exact thread.

Haven’t seen one facemask penalty in any of my games yet. I’ve recently upped the slider to 55. Looks like I’ll have to bump it even higher.

I'm using default penalties atthe moment and there hasnt been this few facemasks since the days of leather helmets. Going to have to start tweaking those penalty sliders soon.

Thank god we have sliders.

BUT the only (defense) slider who doesn't work correctly is defensive pass interference. even @ 99 it makes no difference and in 30 games i only saw it 2 or 3 times

I see 5-10 face mask calls a season playing in heisman with default sliders, actually I think that penalties and the review possibilities are best it has ever been in an EA game

The only real way to trigger this is usering the WR and fighting for position and the ball.

All the other penalties trigger wonderfully with adjusted sliders.

Facemask on 95 works fantastic.
