    Constant CPU No Huddle Dynasty

Is anyone having the CPU no huddle offense the entire game regardless of the team you play?

I’ve definitely experienced it but only against certain teams. I assumed it was just their playbook/scheme.

I haven’t gotten around to it yet but have you messed with the No Huddle options in Edit Coach?

      You cannot edit other coaches.

If you play a team like Michigan and they no huddle all the time against you then I’d say you have some issue.

But otherwise I’d say you just played a lot of teams that run no huddle all game long just like they do in real life (since a lot of college teams run no huddle practically all the time).

I have noticed it, but it's always either been all game like a smaller school or situational if you're playing P5 type schools.

I'm good with it but I wish we had a bit more clock run off after plays that don't result in a first down.

Yeah it's annoying. And throws off the stats from the other games that are simmed because the game that you're playing is getting like 40 more snaps than every other game.

What I did was add a new member into the dynasty. Pick the team you're playing against. Edit coach. Lower the no huddle from aggressive to balanced or conservative. Retire the coach and play the game. The changes save and you'll be playing against a team that isn't running no huddle the entire match

I only see it with teams that make sense. Some teams run it all game, while others only run it after first downs/ big plays.

I had a stretch last night playing teams like Georgia who never run it and it made the game feel like it went by so fast with the accelerated clock.

Re: Constant CPU No Huddle Dynasty

I’m surprised to see so many people complaining about other teams running no huddle (even to the event that some would edit coaches to make it so they don’t run no huddle). It’s like they don’t watch college football at all.

Complaining about a college team running no huddle all game is akin to complaining because teams blitz a lot or because teams run the ball a lot. Or more accurately, complaining because some teams run a lot of options or because some teams never line up under center and only operate from the shotgun and/or pistol.

I’m noticing this. I’m 15+ years in the future but have had Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa, and Nebraska all run constant no-huddle my last 4 games.

There is a workaround. If you go to Members within the Dynasty Central tab, select New Character, choose Existing Coach, and sign the contract, this gives you control of the other team and coach. You can go in and edit that coaches scheme, playbooks etc. Once your game is over, you can just go back to members and retire the coach. It won't mess anything up and it on'y takes about 5 minutes.

There's no need for the weird 'yOu dOn'T kNoW bALL' energy. It's just implemented bad and doesn't run off the time like it should. It also messes with defensive formations/playcalls that can be frustrating to try to catch and fix in time, through no fault of your own. For example, the game simply doesn't know how to handle no huddle sometimes against trips/quads formations and you'll often times see wide open players with no one covering them in man or players lined up completely wrong for the zone they should be playing.

At the end of the day, it's a discussion. It's very strange to comment two times without adding anything of substance to the conversation, label it as complaining, and go on some weird tangent about how people might as well complain about a team blitzing or running the ball. I think people get and understand that the no huddle is a real thing, obviously, but it's horribly executed and implemented in this game, like a lot of other things.

Edit coach for no huddle to balanced or even conservative. I prefer conservative for my cpu vs cpu dynasty. But actually playing balanced would probably be good for what you're wanting to see.

The inability to edit is making their bugs/glitches much worse. We have no way to work around.

anyone notice when on defense and the cpu goes no huddle or turbo that your plays don't populate on the popup to pick a play?

I like the realism of teams running turbo and no-huddle, but I don't like trying to square that up with a video game UI. Puts a lot of pressure on my button-pushing to select the right defender to user, call a play, and try to get some line/coverage customizations.

I appreciate the realistic pressure of not having enough time make a play call; however, when the AI exclusively runs turbo/hurry-up, it feels like the AI has all of the agency and I only get to play with 50% of my toys whenever they have the ball. If I try to do too much, I risk accidentally blowing coverages and giving up free TDs.

I wish I had like 5 more seconds for UI and button-clicking—a slider would be great—and it could be hidden in the animations for players getting up to the line and officials resetting the chains, etc.
