I'm doing the trial. Won't play much of the trial as it's only on Xbox so I don't want to get too involved with making stuff that I won't have once I get the game. If it has the features I want then I'll buy it on PC standard edition and start playing on the regular release day.

Trial and then wait for a sale. EA/Madden have proven that they cannot put out a polished product. Considering the egregious issues in CFB, I have zero confidence Madden will be any different.

If you already played beta so how is gameplay? Defense zone coverage improves better?

Not able to go into details on Beta but it plays better than M24 and ncaa25

Gonna play the 10 hour trial and then get Standard version on Friday. Still playing the mess out of College Football 25. So, no rush to pay $100 big ones to get early this time.

When did patches become a thing? Whenever patches/updates became a thing is when I stopped preordering Madden. I just figure, why not wait until the game is ironed out? I hate starting a franchise and then having a patch change the gameplay all around. That being said, I haven’t really played Madden since Madden 16. I did play Madden 23 when I could get it for half off but it just didn’t hit the same. The past year I actually found my Xbox 360 in my attic with all my games and had some good times playing Madden 12. I follow the posts on here to get the vibes for Madden 25 but there’s a lot of negative talk like usual so we will see. I hope Madden 25 can get me hooked once again. I honestly had held off on buying the Xbox series x BUT I did win a free copy of College football 25 so I’ll probably be buying one soon.

Already got the MVP version waiting for PS5, and Deluxe on PC.

Considering how awesome EA CFB 25 is, how well it plays overall, how much excitement that it brings, and having played the beta for Madden 25 for about 75 hours, I think we can already mark it down, that 2024 is/was the best year for videogame football.

Ever.

Yes. Game Pass Ultimate contains EA Play so you should be able to play the trial

I think the trial starts once early access starts (I think the 12th)

I pre-ordered. But can anyone explain why many of the major retailers (Best Buy and Target included) aren’t offering pickup as an option for a pre-order? Want to make sure I get it on release day
