What I look for when making these are for stats and time to fall in line with EA stats not real stats. This is a video game and cant portray real life. The game and AI doesn't play to real life, therefore chasing real life is a slideritis nightmare. I want to see good field play and lets call it a realm of realism, but more in line with EA. I try to keep the sliders close to default because the further you go off default, the more the game plays to sliders then ratings. Thus making building a team useless.
I have about 100 hours of testing with these using 3 different dynasties. Ohio State, Florida, and Central Mich. Each dynasty has been its own. Each have played year 1 as expected. The only thing changed was the teams. The settings and sliders have been the exact same. To me thats the other nice thing. The games do not play the same with varied team ratings. A powerhouse plays like a powerhouse, a average team plays average and a small school plays like a small school.
Im on my 3rd year of default HUM/CPU sliders. I believe that the only adjustments needed for cvc is in the penalties and time. I also do not make ANY ratings, traits, or playbook adjustments. The more you skew the game, the more off the beaten path you get.
Weather games increase everything. Penalites, mistakes, some funky play, and horrible kicking. Its the game, not sliders.
If games start playing what you think is a "WTF". Exit the game and reset and reload sliders. Ive had this happen 1x in 100 hours. It happens, its the game, it isnt perfect.
