    Wear and Tear Fix

Alright fellow slider folks, as I’ve seen some of you state and I’ve experienced this myself, wear and tear isn’t near what we all expected.

I think I’ve found the correlation to that.

I thought I remembered reading in a deep dive that wear and tear would adjust as you adjusted game clock, which in turn I feel it has, BUT, I don’t think it’s enough.

If you set your game clock to 7 minutes, you can really start seeing wear and tear early and often.

I know most slider sets are running 10-12 minutes, and I love that as well, but the moment I changed down to 7 with a 25 second play clock, I really started seeing lots of changes.

I’d love to see some others feedback on this.

I’m getting plenty of wear and tear. My QB was a mess by the end of season #2

Not to speak for the quoted poster, but since turning my fatigue to 90 and my injuries to 55, wear and tear seems to have increased a bit and I have had multiple game injuries that were not season-ending that did stick after the game ended. I had a LB miss 3-4 games with a hand injury. My RB has missed half the season with a hamstring issue right now as well but is set to return before the season is over.

He had to go to the bench quite a few times in game #12. Was getting constant warnings about his wear and tear and risk of additional injury, and his ratings were very much in the red. I actually went to the backup for the last two possessions of the first half to get him some rest. He was pretty gimpy my last three games, but it really came to a head in game #12. So he didn’t miss any games per se, but was definitely impacted by wear and tear. Isn’t that what we’re talking about here?

Was also missing my starting LT which did not help.

I'm not sure what others are looking for with wear and tear, but I'm looking for those constant warnings about injury to actually result in injury. Otherwise it's a bit of a low consequence strategy mini game, with attribute penalties that may or may not be nerfed under the hood. If I can ignore it completely and almost never notice a difference, I don't think it's a particularly interesting feature. But I'm sure (positive) some people would complain if it had too much of an effect too, so idk.

I've had warnings on multiple players that they are at risk of injury, a good number have resulted in various injuries of various magnitudes. . Two in the last two weeks have resulted in season ending injuries.

I've also taken to sending guys back out if given the option to wrap up their injury is given to me. If it isn't I sub them out, but if it is then I have to wrap it up and send them back out.

It's resulted in me getting a few more injuries that last outside of the current game.

I run injuries at 62 and fatigue at 100.

I’m happy with injuries and wear and tear.

                    I’ve been doing the same.
